That stinks, man. I understand that stuff happens, it's cool. I'm just bummed for you that you don't get credit for this fight. I'm still excited to see it whenever you get to upload it as a Beyond Battle. Thanks again for the challenge! Gypsy Moth was fun to draw!

Hi guys,

I'm finally pulling my head out of the sand... I'm good thanks mrnoitaull. My scanner took a crap.... Which totally pissed me off, as I took the day off work and pumped out five pages....that day for a total of eight.... And even though it was gonna be only pencils... I was totally stoked because I tried a style I've never done before....

So I'm really sorry Stephen, I'm really freaking bummed.... But I'll ink and send it up by next week, and if you want I can take some pics and send them to you to prove I had them done....

Anyway I am totally impressed with yours. You definitely deserve the win. You told so much with the limited amount of pages... Look for mine next week... Peace.

I had intended this to be longer, but with all the false starts I was running out of time to dedicate to my tournament fight so that had to take precedence over the length of this comic. As it is I only left myself four days to come up with something to put up against Rtv, so I've got my work cut out for me there.

Anyway, thanks for the comments so far, I'll definitely try to keep the critiques in mind as I produce more work.

Mr. Kent: I'm happy you're pleased with my inclusion of the Orphanage gallery and your characters. I enjoyed drawing them all hope to include the Orphanage heavily in Octavian's story line if it's ok with you and the rest of that gang. I'd like to talk to you guys about that so I know I'm not stepping on anyone's toes in my writing.

I'm with Fern--Octavian is quite the looker!

I do like your clean lines, and love how smoothly you draw action. Wish it was a little longer, though--you were just getting started! In the next comics, I'd like to see more story development to match the nice visuals. Nice to see the Orphanage's Gallery get some more screentime, and you draw a great Todd and Bathin, by the way.

Whoa Octavian looks like a hottie! His arms on page 2 panel 2, mmmm... I am probably just being very weird.

Anyway, nice comic! Short but sweet, I hope you will continue the storyline!

Woah, nice work, Iketeru! I really love those inks, great fluid lines and all. Word balloons are a little overstuffed, though- the first page, for example, with that huge bubble. Even just breaking that up into small bubbles might make it seem less overwhelming.

Congrats Stephen... And just as a heads up I scrapped everything I was doing because I was totally unhappy with the inconsistencies in my art... It was pretty fucking horrible actually.... So I restarted everything yesterday.... Hahaaha.... I'm pretty happy with the choice I made... Unfortunately I wish I had an extra day... But oh well... Not defaulting... Just wish for the extra day.... I think you'll be shock with the direction I took.... No hints...just wait and see.... Still drawing...it'll come down to the wire... Good luck...

I think you should get the win....

Uploaded. The fourth page is actually just the first page of my second idea that I cut. It featured Octavian meeting Alixa at an arcade after meeting her online, she poisons his drink, he passes out and then RTV captures him. I decided I hated it and scrapped it. The actual comic is actually the third idea I had which is a better, abridged version of my first idea that I wanted to dovetail from Gypsy Moth VS Todd Susser. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it!
