4 years ago, one tournament shaped the landscape of Void City's "canon" unlike any since, and with a year of increased collaborative activity, what better time to bring it back?
Grab a partner and take to the ring in 2017's first official tournament:

the Tag Team Tournament is a regular 2-week drawing time tournament where two artists join together with one living character each (that's two characters) to take on opposing duos round after round.
This tournament is open to all members with good recent records (no chronic defaults/incompletes, etc. at the staff's discretion), and like last time, if we get too large a surge of participants for one bracket, it will be broken into two (meaning we'd fittingly have a pair of finale-winning pairs)
You and your partner are free to pair up in any capacity you choose. The collab could be writer/artist, artist/colorist, first half/second half, or anything in between. You are only limited by what you two decide for yourselves.
How to Sign Up
Both pairs must post on this thread with mutual confirmation of who they are entering with
(example: Pyras posts he will be using Miller and entering with Skulls' Xia, and Skulls posts as well confirming that she is using Xia and entering with Pyras' Miller)
DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 28, plenty of time to ask who wants to go to the tournament with you, and for some of you to rest from your V-Day grinds

NEWS UPDATE
It's been discussed and now confirmed among the staff, in order to keep to 3 rounds and avoid 3-way battles, The tournament will consist of 16 teams, and end with two winning teams.
Tragically, this does mean that people will be cut out. We will be looking at recent records, activity, length of time as a member, and various other factors when determining who will be cut.
Understand that if we could we would allow you all to join in, but we are trying to avoid any 3-way battles for this tournament as every comic has now gotten twice as hard with more characters to juggle, and we can't have the tournament go on too long and bleed into our summer events.

one last reminder for the TTT people:
There is NO uploading grace period, you MUST submit before the deadline. You can also email your pages to staff @ entervoid.com but they MUST be emailed by the deadline. If you email us hours after the deadline it is a default.
Also, as always, you need ALL characters involved in your match to be represented in order to have the comic posted.
If you want CUSTOM THUMBNAILS, please email those as soon as you can to staff @ entervoid.com. They must be 100 x 150 px, and named in a certain way. See more info here: http://help.entervoid.com/submitting-a-comic/
Sending us properly named thumbnails will get the comics posted faster.
For the new folks: ALL comics are reviewed before they are posted for voting so please be patient tomorrow. It takes a lot of time and checking to post up round 1 of a tournament. I'm hoping to have them posted before 11 am EST.
PLEASE REMEMBER:
1. Double check file sizes!! 1000 px WIDE is recommended
2. Don't upload weird file types or file names with weird characters
3. Triple check that you uploaded in the right order with the new PREVIEW function
4. It is your responsibility to be on time and upload the correct files.
