i really really shouldn't add to my current workload...BUT...

REMATCH

would be soooooo goooooooooooood.

I'd pay to see that.  Even though I've never had the spare change to buy ANYONE'S published work, here, I'd pay to see THAT.

DAN.  DAN WHAT THE FUCK.  YOU GOT MARRIED?

CONGRATULATIONS (I guess)!

Gabe, you look hot.  o_O

...And I totally like, disregarded every other photo posted from two/three pages ago, and I'm totally getting annoyed with the fact that I can't view anything from Photobucket.   >:(

GO FOR BROKE! / Re: Sirius' New Sketchbook
« on: Sep 12, 2008, 03:21 AM »
This is going to be extremely general, but nonetheless long-winded.  I still can't tell short stories, and in that respect, I fail.

I haven't sat here and read through every single comment so as to memorize it verbatim.  But I do see issues of anatomy, encouragement, and the pros and cons to stylistic portrayals of otherwise real things coming up, and being debated amongst the other members.  If anything, I'm adding support and backing up what's already been said.

Sirius, first of all, you got talent.  You got a knack for designing characters that are definitely individualistic.  I like your sense of fashion, firearms, etc, design.  You go all-out to portray the humanoid form.

As Kuro said, "It's fine to do stylized work, but it's better to know what it is you're stylizing first."  I think that if you start doing observation drawings again your work will positively benefit.  We're not asking for you to make hyper-realistic work.  We just want you to have the foundations to MAKE your style WORK.  There is no reason for your style that you've established to change because you understand how the human form works in an environment.  Once you have that foundation, there really is virtually nothing stopping you, so...

Please DO some observation drawing once you're finished wrapping up things for the other comic site, figures and objects alike.  We'll be ready for your updates.

The frog sketch is great, love it to bits.

I know that there are many different types of chameleon, with different types of characteristics, but I honestly think you might consider playing with the bulbousness of the eyes a little more.  Not to make it sound like the "token chameleon", or anything.  But the eye on the right seems to have sunken in and/or disappeared somewhere....  Just something to think about.

I'm looking forward to seeing how you might pull off a scorpion or echidna rider.  That would be grand.

Wow, thanks for the welcome, however belated (my introduction) was.  o_o

Arti's the BEST EVAR.  JUST GOTTA GET THAT OUT THERE IN THE OPEN, IN CASE SOME OF Y'ALLS DIDN'T KNOW.

Jinguj, I can't believe you like my art.  I just can't.  But thank you, honestly, I MEAN THAT.  You can call me WHATEVER YOU WANT.  I'm flattered.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO JOIN THE "LET'S MEET MICKEY" BANDWAGON RIGHT NOW.  There needs to be a Mickeycon, honestly.  Who wants to help me organize it?

New here? / INTRODUCE YOURSELF
« on: Jan 16, 2005, 03:41 PM »
I so didn't introduce myself back in the day.  And I need to type something.  So here goes.

My name is Brittnay O'Hop.  I hate my name, tho, so that's why I'd rather have people call me B (Bii) or Britt.  I've got a load more nicknames in addition to that, but I think those will do just fine...

Mickey made me "do it".  Well, join VOID, I mean.  I've probably known of her existence longer than most of all y'alls.  I take pride in that, I do.  My dream is to meet Mickey in person.  ...  Well, it's TRUE.

Ummmmm I was born in Chicago on July 31st, 1984, but I've lived 19 outta 20 years of my life, here, in Northern Virginia.  I'm of 100% Polish origin. I live with my mom, dad, and older sister.  My headquarters is The Basement.

I'm extremely lazy.  I'm not an artist.  I do artwork, instead.  Well, if I can stop being lazy for more than five minutes.

I'm a violist, but can also play the violin and piano.  I don't have a guitar, but if I did, I could probably play that as well.  I have perfect pitch.  I decided against being a musician cuz I can't perform in front of others without becoming extremely overwhelmed and passing out.

I'm a linguistics whore.  I can talk for hours about the "science" of language.  I can talk for hours, period.  I'm a firm believer that people should be paid for bullshitting, because that's what I do best, I think.

Someone, please, buy me a wacom tablet and a new computer.

OKAY, BYYYYYYYEEEE~!!
