Ohhh this was a very intriguing intro. I love your detail work with the space station and the armour, and I’m very interested to find out who (or what) Bob is. There was some messiness on the last page - panel 3 had some very wonky hands - and the last line felt a bit awkward. “What did just happen?” should probably be “What just happened?”. But overall a good intro!

Congrats on getting Bob in with an intro comic! Nice visuals though I think if you pop in more color and glowy blues it would've sold the space theme even more. Hope we find out more about Bob in future comics since we didn't get to know much about him here.

thanks guys! Seems like i hit the right spot here.
The aspect of this intro not giving too much information about Bob is absolutely fair.
Though i would have missed the point of his design which is supposed to be mysterious if I would fill the audience in to what is going on.
Unraveling this in just meager 3 pages would be very rushed. I am working on a follow up BB which will give you a little more insight but i expect it will lead to more questions rather than less.
My plan is to do 3 or 4 BBs before i battle anyone with him. Some of you know my struggling so more solo work will help my opponent as much as myself!

Snager! regarding the helmet guys. those are just filler characters. giving them actual faces felt to me like giving them too much presence as actual characters so i chose a neutral visual perk. i hope the speech bubbles helped giving at least a sense of individualism. Bob on the other hand ... will not be unmasked for a long while. I guess.
Heathen! thats sweat and definetely a good way to tackle Voids battles. but in this case I do prefer more content as well before i battle anyone as stated above.

Interesting comic you got here my friend, while I do agree with some I would like to know more about Bob, I am aware that this is only their intro and that who and what Bob is, is gonna be the mystery behind its creation so I can wait to see what untold secrets this character will tell.

This is one of those characters who gets carried by their design, which can be a good thing like with Sonic or Yoshi or Pikachu. So I personally am looking forwards to getting to draw him!
however, this intro doesn't tell us very much about Bob. The helmet guys helmet designs kind of look like bob's face: is he wearing a similar helmet to what the helmet guys have? and this setting is this space station. so is he always supposed to default to a sci-fi feel? the alien creatures in tubes didn't kill him and we see him like, glomping one of the tubes they're in. So that means he's one of them? cool, a mystery to unravel.
but we can't tell what Bob's motives are from this intro and we can't read his response to what happened to the guards, either. Does he think it's FUNNY that the guards got killed? He doesn't seem very upset about it. and i guess that's part of the mystery: why would the space station let someone work there who
a. is similar to the aggressive aliens they've captured
b. doesn't care about the deaths of their co-workers
so that's a cool mystery. but for people who want to write battle comics with Bob, we won't get many ideas because we can't tell what kind of PERSON he is from this. is he silly? I'm getting a silly vibe. is he an action hero or more of a wall flower? Am I supposed to just be patient and see what new Bob Content comes out next before I pass judgment? sorry for all this if that's the plan

You know the beautiful thing about Void? He can be any of those things, if you battle him! Why wait for more content before drawing conclusions? Make a Bob comic! Let's see your take on the character! It sounds like he's got your gears turning. You could guide and shape Bob's story... if you win!

I made a full crit in the approval email but I just want to reiterate what a great job you did design with Bob. You make him mostly all black yet you still manage to put highlights and shadows on him which a lot of people struggle with in solid black parts of designs.
