JOENEARY - Yay for Jack Skellington! This seemed like an interesting experiment, and I totally understand when you say you didn't have time to get a feel for the comic. I've had that experience too. Those last few panels of your opponents' death were really nice conceptually. Your comics are absolutely unique and I'm always intrigued to see what you come up with next.
PYRAS - Your lineless style is definitely coming along, but I still prefer your linework. In some panels the foreground and background colors lack contrast, especially in scenes with Savannah with the floor in the background. I loved the concept of the Assassin Bar--great *execution* (yuk yuk). Overall an entertaining comic.

Monday: Thanks for the critique<3 I didn't imagine the Event Horizon as an *intergalactic* assassin hotel but now that the idea is in my head…….. the next time Event Horizon appears in one of my comics I will definitely show off its outer structure, the most you guys got this round was the gargoyle in the front (the place was founded by a gargoyle assassin, more lore in the future). Yessir i was hammered by long work hours and a string of bad luck illnesses throughout this round, it's a miracle I turned in a complete piece.
Kozispoon: Thank you<3 I'm starting to really warm up to this style too, despite how much effort it takes to make it look good I'm starting to get faster, I hope one day I can get fast enough for this to be my default style without sacrificing so much time from my life and sleep cycle to do it. One of the things I love most about drawing Peggy and other "flexibly structured" characters is not having to worry about the limitations of bones and muscles and proportions and just going wacky with the expressions.

Monday: Thanks for commenting but I don't really know what you are getting at because you just say you have a problem but don't explain why. For example not knowing what Porkchop is supposed to be... Are you referring to his opinions, what he physically is. I just really have no idea what you are trying to express. I also have no idea by what you mean when you say "noise". Sorry.

Well in regards to Porkchop, I don't know what you're selling him as. A joke ? comedic relief ? a butt of a joke ? a person to laugh at ? I think it's confusing to me because he's either an amalgamation of offensive jokes or a character I'm supposed to feel wierdly charmed by. It gets to be a little middling which is something you don't want because it leaves a lot of things gray and as-is. It is raw.
The whole middle gets to be a lot of me guessing things out because somewhere at the end White is too stressed out and gets a heart attack ? Yeah this wasn't building up all too clearly for me, it needed more focus needed to be more to the point because noise was going to make that waver in an interesting direction either way, but in this case it made it waver too much.

Kozispoon: Ye I think I had a bit of an identity crisis in this one where I didn't really have a direct enough theme and feeling to the comic that I was going for. It was quite all over the place.
Videogame death animeation sounds good to me!

Shen: I'm super glad you appreciated my pacing and energy. That is exactly what my focus was on for this comic. To basically improve my storytelling abilities and clarity hopefully. I may not have been super effective, but I think I am learning somewhat in that regard.
Ye, creatively it was hard to think of it because they are so "super powered". I thought shooting, crushing, whatever, would just not be possible against such hardcore monstahs! I think the heart attack thing could have worked, its just I think it was a weakness in the comic that I didn't communicate or develop the intensity of the situation and the effect it was having on Savannah quite enough.
Thanks Dudes and Dudesses'!

JOENEARY- Another random comic full of hijinks! I'm usually a fan for the wacky and nonsensical, but this particular battle wasn't my cup of tea. Still there were some standout moments. The dramatic 'end to your opponents self mummifying themselves was pretty cool. It edged into videogame death animation territory to me which appealed.
PYRAS- The lineless style you've been tinkering with in various battles is really becoming something of a signature. Really digging the look! You got some action, humor and really showcased your opponents to be the wacky badasses we all know them to be. Not to mention the mouth on Peggy in your battle was hilarious! Keep up the good work

Pyras: Digging the use of color and heyyyyy intergalactic mercenary bar. Wish i could have oggled the structure from the outside so I could put a "face" to a name as multiple indoor shots tend to imply that we're in the same place. :v
Story is well designed but it just gets the job done. Seems we were both set back by time constraints.
Joe:There are parts where I get what happened, but I don't get WHY it happened it leaves a lot of points disjointed and there was a lot of noise that distracted me from the main point. I am also unsure what Porkchop is supposed to be at this point but that's a personal opinion.

Shen: Thanks for the crit, i'm glad you like the laser page I was worried the colors were too bananas in that one~
Radji: Thanks much! You've no idea how much block I had with how to end this comic, and how to end Peggy and Porkchop's lives, there were way too many directions this story could have gone and by the second week I knew I had to just stop and pick a direction and go all in with it. I'm glad it paid off for some readers.

Joe- I like your pacing, and the high energy in all your panels! its great to see a little drama brewing between your characters, too! I like how you carried over not just from your last fight but also from your opponent's last fight as well. Akar's death was very pretty, but I thought Savannah's was kind of a cop-out. I know its tough killing duo opponents- I've had to do it twice now lol- but "weak heart" was a little, well, weak ^^; but if you make it through im curious how their story will progress!
pyras- despite your illness you managed a high standard of quality! The bright, explosive colours matched the tone and you draw Peggy hilariously lol. Also, that assassin bar as cool as fuck. I think the Laser Death page is my favorite. I wonder if having Porkchop slip and break his neck is a bit cheap but also with the way you wrote the story im not sure he could have gone any other way- and i do like that in a way, it was Peggy who killed him lol. Im not sure what to critique otherwise, i thought this was a strong comic.

I LOVE IT!
So great Pyras. Its absolutely amazing and flattering to have someone do justice to the characters you've invested such time and effort into. This is why I love Void!
You really got the soul of Peggy and Porkchop down really nicely too. Lets hope we get some good critiques.
