Jobs / Need a colorist for an image pitch $25 a page
« on: May 07, 2014, 05:17 PM »
Hello all,
I'm looking for a colorist for my blaxploitation comic pitch Black Hitler saves Hanukkah. This is a pitch so I really need someone who would be available to handle regular coloring duties if the book gets picked up. I have included the first three pages. If interested, please email me at mlhcomics@gmail.com

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Do not contact me unless you have 2-7 sequential PAGES of comics that you have colored. I appreciate you contacting me, but seeing colored pin-ups is of no use to me. I need to see how you work on pages. Thank you.

thanks

Hey guys!
I'm doing a Kickstarter, please give it a looksee. Thanks!

MUTE follows Adrian Kim, a deaf steel mill worker, and his ladyfriend, Meg, as they find themselves on the run from a ruthless killer, after Adrian accidentally mistakes the killer's smartphone – filled with incriminating evidence of grisly murders – for his own.

THE INCUBATOR / Re: Revelarts-ubator

I prefer the Faceless guy. He seems way more original. I saw the twins and I thought, "I have watched this anime before." I acknowledge that they may be close to you, and while they are original, they fit firmly with stories like Sailor Moon(who has to fight the evil heart demons hiding inside people) and Power Rangers(who have to fight evil powers that inhabit objects). The rolled out costumes look a lot better, the first ones you posted, and I AM NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN, look like they belong on a gay pride float. They just seem to be a pure celebration of the male form.

With faceless, I would tame the rest of his costume. Honestly I would just give him a jumpsuit with some accents, like the ghost busters.. His face is so instantly recognizable that he doesn't need anything else. In fact I think the elbows and other things muddy up the visual look of the character

When you are posting characters in any public forum I would suggest writing as little as possible. Limit the description to about a paragraph. People get bored easily and would rather read your story through your comics than read a page long summary of their long history and personal inclinations.

um.. there really isn't a "far enough into," you should probably just go ahead and do it on your own. Head to a mall or something. We were drawing nude models by my 4th or 5th class. Just seems kinda odd to be in drawing 2 and never done life drawing, are you at least drawing fruits and veggies?

Inception gave me orgasms... fourteen of them, I counted.
Predators was... everything I hoped it would be. For better or worse.
Last Airbender was no where near as bad as everyone said it was. That doesn't mean you should pay for it.
I saw Twilight when I was drunk. A thirteen-year-old changed seats because we were laughing too much.
