I'm glad you liked the rendition of TANC, I was worried it would end up looking weird! I think Angie explains it better than I can in this thread: [ http://entervoid.com/index.php?topic=11404.msg194668#msg194668 ] but basically like Popokoli did with 'Greg vs Jules', if you did work on a comic for this but ran out of time you're still able to submit it after voting for the battle is finished.
Evil Eye > Was really happy to read your feedback thanks! I was originally just going to draw them drinking milkshakes or something but then thought 'screw it, they need a gangsta moment'. It was either that or draw them making out. Also glad to hear it worked better without the references, I'll do my damnedest to think of stories in future without relying on that mechanic (not an easy habit to get out of since my prior main comic experience was a Penny-Arcade-esque, slice-of-life, talking-head webcomic that pretty much only had pop culture references)

More variance in the angles would be do wonders too. It feels a little like you set up the model but you're looking at characters at almost the same distance in each panel, meaning the character's the same size in each panel. Once you get the reference, don't be afraid to scale up or zoom the shot in. Don't let the reference you're using dictate your storytelling, that's the story's job.
And the backgrounds look super sterile. It looks all uniform & line-arty. Try to vary things up more. Make it look like a world people live in & not building blocks.
