RoflQ: Thanks for the crit. You're right on pretty much all accounts. I'll use what you said to help make Round 2 better.

Aribooboo: Hey, I'm glad you participated in this. I really like this loose style you're trying here, it reminds me of how Ronin tried to take his work after doing 'realistic' for so long. Despite having little to no dialogue (except at the end), I really liked the visuals provided. The purple was a nice color choice and I really enjoy the first panel of the first page. You've really improved your head to body ratio on that first page also, and you've got tighter anatomy as a whole.

Even though you didn't get as far as you wanted, it was cool to see you try something different for you.


NeoIcarus: Awesome to see you in this, man. It was a pretty fun comic too and you've really improved your action, it's flowing a lot better and you're doing very well with your style. You've got some good blacks here and your anatomy feels a lot better too. I think you could use with some shading on your people though. Maybe in the form of grays or something, because it still feels like there's a lot of negative space still.

I had wondered how you were going to handle Ari's characters in this case. You did pretty well, I felt. Although after a fact, they're really not there for the plot and mostly become a fun little oddity. Not that there's anything wrong with that or I can blame you. Hopefully you can ditch them next round or figure out a way to integrate them and the next opponents better. Also as a side-note, I was slightly confused at first, since I thought that younger girl was Bat's sister.

However, you have next round to make this build up really awesome and I can't wait to see what you cook up.

I think we fed off the same creative energy in this tournament XD

I have no excuses, I simply just lost inspiration. I don't know what happened. Tried something new, I think I wanna play with it more.

Ari you keep getting better, and you tell deeper darker more pensive stories.
