I only read Mister Kent's comics this year, so I gues he's pretty good.

The only debate Fight Club has is the use of subliminar images in stuff, which could become a longer talk about semi-optics, but it's not exactly deep at that.

VOID Characters and Comics / Re: Challenges Thread
« on: Nov 19, 2010, 03:58 AM »
Me, Angie and many others have gotten work by showing void pages in the past. Make them best freaking pages you can. QUALITY TIME!

66
Ha, have you picked those because of the covers?!

Indeed, specially Skidmark. Who's the third one?

Why were people who sucked at anatomy, telling me I sucked at anatomy? Or people who couldn't draw perspective, ripping into my perspective? Why did some of the 'selection committee' members art look like they drew it on a bus on a bumpy road with their left hand when they were really right handed? or vice versa, and people I thought were horrible were in and had more then a few battles, and they wouldn't let me on?
Now I'm not saying I had the right attitude, I'm just telling you why I took it so hard when they told me over and over and over that I wasn't good enough to be on the site and to try again.
The right attitude is definately not tracing, being caught, and say nothing happened.

The approval comittee is definately not an expert on all these points you mentioned, but you bet they can catch someone cheating with tracing on plain sight. Subestimation is ROCKIN' attitude.

69
Void got ruined ever since Angie started making 30 page void comics per month AND professionally coloring a zillion pages for money, simultaneously.
I'm sure that's it.

The forum being back brought me back here.

Downloaded this little beauty. Looks like it was filmed just yesterday!

I had completely forgotten about the first movie's plot and only rmemebered about little spots of the remaining two ones having only watched them once in my life before.

It's quintessential any movie lover watch these, I wish more awesome stuff like this were made nowadays. Spielberg was at his best, and so was Zemeckis.

EDIT: I also had no idea REDLINE was out already. I gotta check it out!

Pretty epic stuff. From what I can see the only thing I can contribute to your work is that it would be interesting to play around with curves or levels on photoshop to make those lineart really black. It's not bad when it's just lineart byt it can be annoying in the full blacks (or grays, in this case).

Unless you plan on watercoloring them too, in which case, nevermind me.
