Sid_Bane- Thanks a ton for the battle! I love love looooove your expressions. You're story was very fun and sweet to read. The textures and color scheme worked pretty nice together in my opinion. I do think your anatomy is too loose in some panels though. While very expressive there are times where it looks off. I think it's because sometimes your character's proportions feel spot on from the chest and up and then look a little less planned from the chest down...if that makes sense??? Like the legs of the characters look noodle-like and I see that's intentional, but because the linework looks a bit wonky at times and it isn't making a nice clean curve it makes it look a bit off when compared to other curves within the character. Either way this was a really nice comic and I enjoyed it very much so. Thanks again.
Puzzlething- Thank you so much for the critique. In all honesty, I didn't really know how to approach trees further in the distance so yeah, I got triangle trees a lot. I live near a woodsy area myself and usually you wouldn't see trees like that in any woods since foliage and other trees tend to block your line of sight, but UH..That would have taken even longer to draw due to textures and leaves and what not. Plus, the first few pages already kind of lacked detail (well, the amount of detail I wanted) so I just sort of left the triangle trees as is. I agree about the white space in the next few pages, but I think it works okay in the last page...not sure if the last page still has the same mood as the first due to the white though.
Interesting observation about the textures, I sort of started drawing tree textures like that after I saw trees in Adventure Time, the show has some neat ways for creating textures using simple lines.
Thank you again, I really appreciate the compliment/crit!

Sid_Bane (I miss your old name T-T) -
I think it was kind of a weird decision to make the characters the darker tone, and the background the brighter tone. It's almost always done the other way around, cause you want the characters to pop up against the setting, since they're what's important.
You also need to clean up your line quality in a few spots, but only a few. It seem like in certain places you start laying down too many lines, and it messes with the cleanliness of your lines a little. It's most in spots like Sodah's hair and a few area's of heavy folding. It's not a huge thing.
And really that's the only stuff that sticking out to me. For a while now dude, you've been so incredibly consistently wonderful. It just feels so complete and polished. Your characters emote so well, oh my god I love their faces. Like, it could've been so easy to hate Sodah, but every face she pulled just won my heart. You draw angry freaking out like 10,000 times but they're each different and unique each time.
It's a small thing, but I love your shorthand for the backgrounds and stuff. Like the scribble to denote the floor on page 3, or many of the talking effects throughout the comic
Dimension -
Your backgrounds feel a little rushed and sloppy to me sometimes, which sucks cause other times it's just fucckkkiiinig aaaaamamamzzzziiiiing. Ugh like goddamn that title page. It's just so good it's disgusting. Forests are so hard to make look nice. It's just so much stuff everywhere! It was prolly just time problems that got you, but it also looks like you don't have a great shorthand for trees in the distance, which means you end up drawing super simplistic triangle trees.
( BTW Speaking of trees, this totally has nothing to do with anything, but I've been seeing that multi-long rectangle texture you're drawing on the tree's in so many other artists stuff, it's so weird. Like, I even do it myself on stuff now. Weiiiiiirrrd.)
I really don't like how much you start using white later in the comic. In the early pages you're incredibly careful where and when you use it, then later it's just everywhere. It totes ruins the tone and atmosphere of the story, and all the white negative space makes the comic feel empty and unfinished.
But dang yo, your art is just fundamentally so pretty. Like just the way your lines move around the figures, and your tight control over the expressiveness of the line. Ugh those tree's. Ugh that FOLIAGE. THAT TREE STUMP OH MY GOD! I really like the tree stump, and the little spirals among the heavy bark. And man, The singers nose. It might be weird, but I'm totally transfixed by that nose. It's just perfect. You're an incredibly artist bro.

Sorry about the upload issues, guys! It looks like Dimension's pages got uploaded just fine (there were some other issues that I hopefully just fixed!), and I've PM'ed Sid Bane to try to figure out why his pages weren't working. I'll get his pages up right now and see what we can do!

I'm also having issues so I'm emailing my pages as well. I'm guessing they go to angie, red or bobo? Aaand sorry, I didn't get to finish this, I had rl things to deal with, but I did try my best to keep up.
But yeah, I hope you are all having an awesome Thanksgiving!
Edit: There are some pages missing for this after page 6. They were roughed out, but I decided to exclude them since they were so sketchy and unreadable.

Sincere apologies. I've been having trouble with the uploader, so I have sent the pages off to some of the mods for uploading. Hopefully I can get the ball rolling here pretty soon.
Also Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

So, even though I tend to be kind of a durp when it comes to replying to things, I just wanted to say thanks.
