Lovely gorey page at the start. Probably my favorite page.
Though, I think the white background breaks the composition a bit. The third pannel seems to have an orange one though. But instead of making Chris look like he is in panic or thinking about what he's done, he looks more like hungry. (Though. Maybe that was the idea. Hweh.)
Maybe he's grown into me, but Chris is such a charismatic fella. This is probably the first time I've seen him snap like this. And I still think he's loveable. :I
I find it quite interesting how you manage to go from a serious/scary scene, to something lighthearted like in the last page.
Sharks beating away the camera with a "> " face.
"Let's kill him. He broke my camera"
I've seen you draw girls for a lot of time now, and they always had similar characteristics. I can now dare say you managed to hold a great difference between Minerva and Amelia. And I think that's awesome!
Looking forward to your next comic, Crafty. Keep it up! c:

Crafty, I like your art ^.^ The lines are really sketchy, but somehow it seems to sort of work. I'd like to see what your art looks like with clean lines, or even a little cleaner lines, cause that panel on page two with just the eyes is SO PRETTY. And from the thumbnails, where it looks less sketchy, it's aaabsolutely gorgeous <3
I found the beginning a liiittle confusing, cause is it a dream? Is it reality? Because it seems like a dream, but then the little dude wakes up, but he's still covered in blood? But then he's not? >.>
Overall though, I think it's really good, and I'm seething with jealousy over your epic use of color *_*

Great showing on this Crafty! Normally I don't really like to praise colors, but in this I've got to hand it to you. You've done really well at using them to convey a mood and atmosphere. I positively love page 7. That slow change in the background from that light blue to deep red? Stellar. My opinion though, you could stand to clean up your lines a bit. The sketchy nature of it all works with your coloring, but it still comes off just like that, sketchy. I'm not saying your lines need to be perfect just consider tightening them up a bit. Overall though, I really dig this. You've got a neat little story, I like your written dialogue for when Chris snaps at them, and you give us plenty of backgrounds to really root the events in place here. Keep up the wicked work, can't wait to read more.

I'm not totally happy with this. Before I sent the challlenge, I had an idea for a story, but a few sketches in I realised it didn't really work for Slaggle's characters. I went through several false starts like this, and then it was a week before the deadline and I really needed to stop flailing around and get something done. So I ended up with a rough and unfinished, awkward juxtaposition of violence and comedy forged in desperation but also burning determination to present something instead of nothing. I was reallly excited for this matchup, ugh.
So, uh. Sorry Slagglle - I should have given you something better than this. I really look forward to reading your side!

Crafty -
I love your fantastically chunky rendering, and the colours are just strait up beautiful. And those lovely reds and blues. I like it more when you hold back on your lines, and let the rendering tell more of the story. I think your lines look great and loose, but there's too many of them, and I feel like they distract from the beauty of your rendering. It looks so much better whenever your satisfied using much fewer lines.
I also love the balance between cutesy, cartoony characters and moments, and more detailed and dark moments. I've always been a huge fan of balancing stuff like that, even if I'm not very good at it. When it's done right, I think it totally makes both kinds of moments that much stronger by contrast.
You could think about rendering certain spots more carefully and exact for emphasis. You do it a few times earlier, mostly on Chris's eyes, but I think you could be way more intentional with it. Just a few spots can really draw the eye and strengthen your composition.
SLAGGLE GODDAMNIT WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY . I was looking forward to your comics so much T-T
