One of the great hellhounds, Marchosias was a demon who thrived amongst his brothers torturing damned humans for centuries, but even that can get monotonous and boring. Growing curious of where such humans came from, seeing their laughter, joy, pain and sorrow from afar, he could only wonder what it was like to actually experience such a thing. After hearing the plea of a sorrowed woman who was told she would be unable to bear any children, the spirit plane demon entered the physical by taking root in her womb. Now in the form of a seven year old boy with the name 'Azriel', Marchosias has found that living is nowhere near as easy as it seemed to be.

Child innocence and naivety crowding his once clear, intelligent and destructive personality, he isn't quite sure what is 'right' anymore.

Azriel is still able to tap into his hound form and petrify on contact from his older abilities as a demon. His life as a demon has grown fuzzy after the time he spent in the womb and growing, now, his attitude is more of a human child than any demon or even an adult, though there are brief, damaging periods when he can tap into what he once knew.
