I feel you on hands. I personally love drawing hands, but sometimes they just don't love me XD A good rule of thumb I've found is remembering that the biggest flexing point is chiefly the knuckle and NOT the others. I find articulating all the joints to bend makes for weird unrealistic poses

oh lawd there's the boy =D An in my personal fav outfits thus far. THANKKK <33

I did not expect this at all as I don't feel underappreciated and fully expected some 'ooh I remember them!' gems from voiders long since past or missed in all the activity we've seen recently. Maybe this is the lesson Cy's slyly been trying to teach us all along with this whole project. In this season of giving, we're all appreciated?? =00

Love you Voiders!

Yes. HELL YES. I am totally here for this character. :D

This is such a cool concept! I love the idea of psychological manipulation and horror that this character brings. We're so used to alotta physical and brawny voiders, it'll be cool to see this explored and expanded upon. What caliber of craziness lays stored in future opponents heads? I can't wait!

For a demon that's lived through multiple civilizations and eras, I'm wondering about her outfit. Is she the type of demon whose stuck in the past and enjoys wearing dated outfits? Or does she adapt to the times to better fit in? It'd be cool to see her in more modern garb if that's the case. Also considering the prejudices and views in the past, does she disguise herself as human? I don't see a purple horned lady walking around in the bronze age lasting very long.

Also, if she doesnt have the cage can she still collect and dispatch nightmares?

Hidey ho and welcome aboard!

First off, I think your paragraphs don't really gel with your character design. Your character comes from a world that's suffered nuclear war, or something like it, but it looks like he's been taken fresh off the factory line. His cape is pristine and doesn't have a any dust, stains or hole/rips in it. Even his mask/face is super clean and white.

Your paragraph says he comes from a dystopian future, but he's wearing fetish gear that was really popular in comics in the 90's. Comparatively, that outfit too is shiny, slick and not weathered or lived in.

If the limiter is a significant item and distinct plot device significant to the character, it might be cool to make it distinct. Give that accessory character so when he takes it off its a big deal and an 'uh oh' moment. As its stands, I didn't even know he had anything of the sort on until I read the paragraph.

While I think the character sheet looks great, I'd fiddle with the BG colors. Your character is so dark, placing them on top of dark colors is muddying this up for me and makes scoping out details and features difficult.

As for your comic pages, they do look promising! It's great to see the foundation work of you getting started on these. I do have a couple notes:

  • The character who's reading off a dossier looks really wooden the way you have them posed. No one really holds papers this way at a desk. Take a picture of yourself reading a sheet of paper. Be mindful of your posture. Are you leaning on an elbow? An arm rest? Is the paper flopping? Really take the time to give that panel some flavor and provide the character some personality. Also consider breaking away from what I call the sidescrolly 'Egyptian' angle on your panels. Try mixing the camera up a little. Maybe we can be viewing this scene over the shoulder, or widen the shot to take in some of the office.
  • When you take it all in, the whole exchange between your character and the one seated at the desk is all the same pose. A tight, constricted panel, with them in profile. It makes the scene look claustrophobic and makes for a boring exchange. You don't always have to focus on them during this. If they're discussing the dossier, maybe dedicate a panel with the a portion of that document showing off something relevant to the conversation at hand. If your character is nervous, or angry during this conversation, a panel showing a clenched fist might be fun. Really anything to break up the repetition of one head two head, one head two head.

Those are really the things that stick out to me. Definitely wish you luck on your progress!
