LEFRED- I love that your work is so eclectic. Comparing this to your other comics makes me feel you have a basement of different artists who ghost draw for you to come at these battles with such different styles. I'm onto you, mister!
Still though, your story was amusingly bittersweet and that's how I like it. The colors were warm and in a funny way exactly how I would picture the lighting in a hospital to be. It really sets the mood for the events that follow. That said, the only thing that kept nagging me throughout is that Pigeon Princess proudly informs us all her medals were won without ever drawing a weapon and in the next minute she's shooting at peoples hair with imaginary guns. What up with that? Still though, all in all, story wise your side was my preferred of the two. Super slick comic and battle, sir.
PUZZLETHING- What are you doing here? Seriously, you better be out there publishing comics and stuffing them on comic store shelves because whatever you do I would buy it. Your work- from the princess tournament to now is so polished and dazzling it feels like you're not hurried or on a deadline at all. Your work comes off so effortless I'm still here scratching my noggin on how you manage it.
I dig that you're continuing P.P's 'war is hell' theme in this encore performance, and even if it isn't right on model, I find it charming that you give all the parties involved this hip and happening dialogue. It really mixes things up. This is totally random, but I covet your rounded panels. How do you do that? I'd love a tutorial!
Ace work you two. Thanks for this last hurrah!

GODDAMNIT LEFRED THIS IS MOTHERFUCKING ADORABLE.
I love your stories so much, and all the little moments that make every page such a joy. Like "Got your hair!" and Mr Reginalds halfhearted finger guns and just EVERYTHING. GOD YOUR SO GOOD. Thanks for the match dude, I totally don't deserve it after losing, this is wonderful.

You two did not disappoint this old coot. Such wonderful tapestries you two make. Chip Chip!
Le Fred, you dapper dan you! I stand by what I have said before that you are one of my favourite storytellers! You know how to create such interesting and homely stories. It hits right close to home. Please do more.
Puzzle you darling little creature you! Firstly, I must commend on your selection of music on this piece you have crafted. Bonus points on choosing Me and the Man in the Moon (one of my favourite songs). Allow me to say that I also adore your attention to details - tis simply a commendable effort! The radio! The phonograph! Gee whiz what sights to see! So refreshing. And the story? I have no complaints!
In conclusion, I just love reading what you two have concocted! In fact I shall end this review, as I need a second reading. Pukka work you darlings!

I wish I could live up to your expectations, but I was so unexpectedly busy this week, I wasn't even sure I could make it at all.
...
I did though. I changed my story a bunch of times to both fit my decreasing time and my motivation, but I do think I like this better than what I'd originally thought, though. (but not as pretty) Anyway, thanks for this delayed ultimate match-up round, Puzzlething! Knowing this finally happened, I can die in peace.

UGHGHGHGHGHG I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO BE UP. Your comic is gonna be so good Lefred, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck I want to die just thinking about it.
EDIT: OH! I forgot to say I totally got a huge amount of inspiration and used a bunch of stuff from this tumblr: http://hannakdraws.tumblr.com/ . If anything in my comic looks good, it's because she's so fantastic.

Oh man, I don't blame you! It's stressful enough submitting a comic when there aren't problems!

Thanks for reading everybody! It really means alot to me.
@Underwood -
Thank you! I actually got Man in the Moon from your tumblr, because I wanted an Underwood song in there, but I Remember Clifford is just one of my favorite sad pieces.
@Kozi -
AHHH THANK YOU! You're way too nice dude, maybe if I was you, or underwood or jackster or oadoawdohuawdoqohuwqdhuo I would totally go for it, but I still have a ways to go before I measure up.
The way I do rounded boxes is super easy though. I just make a new layer at almost the top ( I usually keep mine below the paper texture layer) And cover the gutters in white rectangles with the shape tool. Then I go in and round the edges out by hand with white. It's super easy. If you want me to do something visual to show it, I certainly can.
