Solid battle. Rain, time isn\'t an excuse. if A3 is too big then don\'t do your pages on A3. you don\'t have to do things just cause rey does them. Zato, i would have liked your overall presentation more if the last two pages were the same quality as the rest of them.

Rain\'s art was somewhat consistant so he scores there, but his battle \"tale\" wasn\'t told fully so i marked it lower. it was almost the oppisite with Zato IMO, Story was told, art wasn\'t complete in the full outcome. I enjoyed reading it, but this time i\'m voting Zato.

lol , yeah i did a pretty slack job , but c\'mon like i have 5 days to draw this meny pages on A3 !!! like i wonder how big you fellas draw?, because if i was to shrink my ass down to a lame a4 (computer paper) it just would\'nt feel the same , but i totally agree it was a total copout for me to do that,  its just i was running out of time and i had to scan them all in 2 halfs and then put them together which took like so its a long process but yeah i think he did a GREAT !!! job with his comic it was just a little confusing in some panels mabey but still it was awsome !

p.s about the shirinking gun , it was just about the time factor and i had to race to finish it and get it in on time hence why its not even finished , but mabey next time i will try drawing a little smaller to save some time

Zato: you\'re stuff would have taken the cake if you\'d finished, but what you did finish looked good, if a little confusing at places. The jokes were funny enough, but nothing to fall over about.

Rain: I love you\'re skills, but you\'ve got to find a different font. Maybe try something like Arial or Comic Sans? It\'s hard to read that digital-looking stuff you\'ve got unless to increase the size of your lettering. Other than that, it was good stuff, but I don\'t like the short-cut you took around Buer. I guess if you really didn\'t want to draw the thing fine, but you should have tried.

Ah, you saw that flash too, eh Zato?  God, as soon as Tenchi bellowed that out I was hooked.  Damn you for your stealthy Flash-cum-pop-culture knowledge.  Also, damn you for not finishing that inking!  

BUT... at least the story got finished, which is more than I can really say for your entry, Rain... which sucks, because your art style is so damn fresh.  More colors PLZZZZ... all those washed-out lines and greys are totally making me sleepy, and my eyes hurt.  Oh yeah, and I really wanted to see you draw Buer, so having Tenchi already beat it before it could appear on page seems like a real cop-out.

Long story short: Zato should do more inking and shading, and Rain needs more standout lines...

Wow, both the "pairs" are matched against each other! Both artists have good work, and seem pretty well matched.  Fight for justice... and stuff.
