Jim: I liked your story and the mind exploration was awesome. It was certainly a little different in atmosphere from your previous battles which were more humor based, but I think you pulled it off pretty well.
Orange: Oh gods, I love where the story is going. So does this mean that Luna remembers everything now? Luna unmasked looks pretty cool. Totally looking forward to the epic conclusion of this.
Great job on both sides, made it very hard to choose which comic I liked more.

Man, two really great entries from you guys! Rock on!
Jim - You did a great job pulling in Orange's baggage and interacting with it. Interesting take on it, and I enjoy Sal as a wise advisor. I guess I miss some more humor, but I felt the story was nice overall. Good colors. I really enjoyed the look of the sequence in Luna's mind, really cool style.
Orange - Setting us up for some awesome, hey? The pallet is nice, sets a good mood. Not much to pick on, pretty well balanced. Just don't let us down! You know, no pressure.

A cliffhanger? A CLIFFHANGEEEEERRRRRR?!
That's just mean, Orange.
Good gravy I was waiting for this match up! You both did outstandingly well and managed to add much more plot and mood into your entries while keeping some relevance to your previous ones.
Orange, I am absolutely thrilled to see Luna's background finally revealed. The evil moon-computer thing kinda confused me, but I think more will be revealed later. The setting is absolutely perfect and I love the backgrounds as well as he characters' interactions with each other. You have really been contributing a huge amount of plot to this once simple tournament!
Seeing as how there's gonna be an all out war if you continue, I'm selfishly hoping for cameos.
Jim, this definitely had a much more serious tone than your previous matches, and you pulled it off very well! The backgrounds still need some work, but you managed to make that not so noticeable with all the dynamics thrown into it. What makes this stand out is how you were able to successfully incorporate Luna's complex story into your own without screwing things up. That takes skill, dude!
All in all, this was an awesome match. But I hate you both for making me have to decide which one I like more...

@Angie - Thanks! I know I need to work on my colours a lot, and I thought about adding highlights but after thinking about it, I knew I wasn't going to have the time so I opted to keep them out. I'll keep that in mind for the future. As for the story I'm not going for anything groundbreaking anyway as week-long deadlines don't allow me to come up with a real nice story, but entertaining was what I was going for and I am glad you enjoyed it
@Le Fred - Thanks dude! I am quite okay with it being a bit cheesy, I just wanna go with something that at least entertains !
@Jethro - believe it or not there was some stuff I had to cut short, such as a second fight scene. But after realizing that "Oh man this is going to carry me into 20+ pages" I had to make a decision. I think it would have been cooler to possibly end it with maybe another page, but I was racing against time enough as it was haha. Hopefully I can manage to conclude it and go out with a bang. Glad you enjoyed it though!

JimValid-this was more polished than your previous comics but I felt it was a lot more stiff and dry. It may have been the transition from doing humor to trying to do something a bit more dramatic. I think it was clear to me that you have a bit of a harder time with drama. I think one thing that would have helped your story was showing that Luna was the monster in more detail. Since to me the scenes kind of jumped around like here's a dude that's on the ground, Salvatore is randomly fighting Luna, they fight a page or so and oh Luna's not so bad. Like I know you can't really do a big 5000 page comic in a week and that's fine, but some more build up would have helped a lot since everything felt very abrupt.
Orange-The art was really strong this time around, I really enjoyed the environments in this one. I think one thing that would have helped your comic is introducing some lighter tones into your backgrounds. You have all these nice little details but the coloring makes the background feel very flat. For example on page 4 the last panel I had to stare for a moment to figure out the panel since I saw the lines but the colors really didn't do much to guide me around the panel so I had a hard time figuring out what was what. Storywise I found this very entertaining, while it was nothing new or groundbreaking you did it in an entertaining manner.

Anti-luna and psychogalactore!
Jim, I didn' feel as entertained as with your previous fights, I guess you should work if you want to do more dramatic-y or serious stuff. But still, good work. I also very much like salvo's mind look.
Orange, now that's what I'm talking about! The red-ish color really adds to the effect and though somewhat cheezy, the revealed plot is pretty exciting.
Luna actually looks pretty good under the weird head-gear

Oh wow! I really enjoyed both stories!
Orange, I really liked your limited color scheme, and lots of dramatic closeups! I kinda wish you had ended the cliffhanger with something more dramatic like that, but wowow looks fantastic, and I love the machine-scape you've made.
JimValid, I liked how you did Galactore in Luna's mind, and kudos on the nice full backgrounds, but they didn't distract me from the people I was supposed to be paying attention to, but I feel like sometimes they look a little flat. Perhaps a little more details?

@Amazingdavid - Thanks dude! I appreciate the compliment
@JimValid - haha yeah I pushed myself as best as I could with the 1 week deadline and HW, so I'm quite happy with how it came out in regards to that. It was a fun fight, and I knew fighting you wasn't really going to be easy! I like your character a lot as well, quite fun to draw since he is a little outside my norm (Bald, bulkier super muscley dude). Whatever happens, the fight was fun
@Orion - haha all my endings more or less this tourney have been cliffhangers in a sense. Though this is the most apparent/dramatic I guess. As for who he gets help from - I have no clue yet! If I don't win though I'll finish this story in a beyond battle I guess, or possibly tie this into a battle in the future and finish it then. Either way, no matter the outcome of this fight, I am going to wrap it all up for some closure . Thanks dude!

OH! Cliff Hanger!!! Wonders who Galactore is getting help from....
Both seem very true to the characters. Can't wait to see the outcome in whoever wins.
(wishes he could give better critiques...)

Holee crap. Orange, you've outdone yourself. Well done, very well done. It has been an honour to fight you; perhaps my most favourite entrant in the invitational tourney

Just going over my comic one last time here, I just want to say thanks in advance to JimValid for the battle. I also want to say I lost a lot of sleep on this comic and I want to apologize if some pages are not as good as others quality wise (due to time), but let me tell you it was a labour of love and while I don't know if I'll do something as intense as this on top of college work (finals coming up D:) again and losing lots of sleep - I don't regret anything . I feel like my last two comics were shit, so I hope that I have earned my place in this tournament with this one.
I hope you guys enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed making it I'll be submitting in a bit.

@Dan - Thanks bro, I am hoping I won't let anyone down!
@Blink - I guess I must not have made it clear enough, the moon once had people living on it and the civilization was wiped out. The Moon itself isn't a computer but a living entity that housed things on its surface. It just was able to communicate through the computers and such. It used Luna's energy to free itself completely so it can destroy the planet now. That's it in a nutshell . As for more stuff to be revealed, I don't think there will be too much more for now . I also dunno if I'll be cameo-ing much, because of how much time we actually get to draw. I'll have to see but I can't say for sure.
