i've studied a bit of acupressure, and while i think i know which points you're talking about, could you toss up some visual aids to indicate them for others?
Anyhow, here are the points I use:
More info here: http://www.ergomatters.co.uk/blog/rsi/forearm-extensor-muscle-overuse-and-rsi/If you raise your hand back while keeping your forearm still, you should feel the muscle contract quite noticeably. Put your hand back in a relaxed position and massage that spot deeply.
...while we're on the subject....
PREVENTATIVE CARE
In addition to doing the stretches in the first video, the best way to protect your drawing muscles are to strengthen your drawing muscles. Do push-ups ("press-ups" for our British friends) on your fists every morning. See if you can add two more to however many you did the day before!
Remember to do them slowly and maintain proper form! That means keeping the elbows close to the body!If you feel like your knuckles are too weak, I would say A) suck it up, or B) get a pair of push-up bars and use those.
Another great way to improve your wrist/forearm strength is to start drumming. If you don't have a pair of drumsticks though, using weights is a great alternative.
Make sure you do both underhand AND overhand! If you have any other questions, this would be a perfect place to discuss it!
...I kind of want to compile everything into one giant tutorial.
