Footini - Yknow generally I like my slow buildups, but it was refreshing to see you jump straight into the action. Also as always this was really funny. I snorted aloud at “hashtag JaJa is cancelled”. And the kicker that CHARLIE was the cop to show up? Loved it. This was a solid comic.

Lefrafra - Sorry, have to agree with the others in that I’m not quite sure what the story is here. I’m not sure what the deal is with the artifact or the dragon, where the ghost monster or Kit and Jade came from. I couldn’t tell if the scenes with them before they showed up were happening in a different part of the house, or in a different time, because there was no background to indicate where the two interactions were happening or colours to indicate if it was a flashback or not. Though I admire your drive, 12 pages was definitely too ambitious for one week.

Footini- I really thought the joke of the comic was funny, good job! Felt a bit on the nose for the current IRL dilemma though.

LeFrafra- I enjoyed the setup you had going, and overall the art would've been perf if it had been finished. Kinda wish that the last page wasn't so abrupt, and that the final conversation was changed to something more 'in the moment/de-escalation' of the fight rather than a quick time skip. I get that it you were short on time, though. Good work too, nontheless!

Footini- This was great, I'm always a fan writing, you always managed to pull of fun, tight stories. The art was great as well, really dynamic, with a lot of expression. You've done good job editing your traditional pages as well, its nice to see you've picked up on past presentation crits.

Lefrafre- 12 pages in 1 week, is a lot. I think you might've bitten off a bit to much with this one, especially considering you've had issues finishing comics.
That being said what you did manage to achieve IS impressive, i'd just prefer a shorter finished comic, to a longer unfinished one. Your pencils are really nice, and I'm incredibly fond of Kujo, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do in the future.

'No actual animals were harmed in the making of these comics.'

Footini - Go to jail. Go directly to jail. Do not pass GO. Do not collect 200$. Who's going to buy Jaja's apparel now? Jk I will have a pair of those shoes. Put in a little more backgrounding and deposit that in the bank. I did enjoy the situational humor here. Keep it up!

Lefrafra - Never underestimate the two anthropomorphic kids living inside an antique store guarded by a hellhound. Kujo is so adorably protective. He reminds me of a pug I lived with for a while. You have a lovely style. I would like to see more of it!

VERY cute, Footini! I like how you've been working on your craftsmanship! I like how well you mix things up with your panels and lay outs and how that all feeds into your interesting camera angles and close-shots, too! Wish I hadn't had all the jokes spoiled for me in voice chat but it is what it is. The dog-looking cop taking the dog's side is basically a A+ political cartoon, as well. very on-topic XD and I recognize a lot of cameos besides the cop, which is just so nice to see~ A++

LeFrafra: well, its just not done, is it? I like how you tried to show a contrast between the escalating violence between Kujo and Jaja, and give Kujo more background/a family. but I think this made you bite off more than you could chew in a week. but your sketches are still nice enough to read and you at least got your speech bubbles in,which have ABOVE average dialog for this site. oh and I recognize and appreciate your meme choices.

Footini: I appreciate the simplicity of your story and how everything just falls apart as soon as people see that Jaja's basically punching a dog. You've got some creative panelwork going on and the backgrounds are coming together. Good job overall!!

Lefrafra: It's a shame that you weren't able to finish everything but I applaud the effort. While the setup was fun and the Jojokes are nice, I feel like you could've shortened the page count without sacrificing your story. My advice for next time is to thumb out your entire comic early on to get a sense of the shapes you're using as well as understand your total page count and figure out where to cut back. Less pages = more time to work on completed panels.

Footini: Love the traditional tools, simple,  fun story, panel layouts that are lively without being messy, and there's a lot of effort on display. Get yourself an ames lettering guide.

Lefrafra: In 12 pages, I'm honestly not sure what story you delivered. The unfinished art and single sentence balloons made this comic read far too quickly,  with nothing for my eye to linger on. Definitely work on your pacing and page economy.

btw shoutout to ArtsandGoodies for being my mentor for this battle.
That cat really knows his stuff when it comes to comics and was great at giving me instruction on techniques and exercises during this battle.

Thank you Arts!

This is a ridiculous matchup, it's funny to see how you both handled a fight that involves, well... not the most intimidating hellhound I've ever seen, haha.

Footini - I really liked the very energetic variety of shots in your different panels, it made for a fun read and a pretty good amount going on in a limited number of pages! The comic was a nice mix of action and humor and I like that Kujo took the wicked way out when he was feeling like he might not win the fight, it seems perfectly appropriate for a hellhound that's a little on the extra fluffy side. Gotta make the most of the cute!

Lefrafra - I really like what I can see of what was going to be happening here, shame you didn't get a time to finish it out in full! The sketch work was lovely, but for obvious reasons the story became a little unclear just due to not having the full art to look at for context. I enjoy your ambition (and sympathize, because I'm personally absolute garbage at brevity in comics) but I'd say maybe work on trying to condense down to fewer pages so you have more time to pour love into fully realizing what you have. Either way, a good effort and hopefully you learned more about what pace you work best at for the next one!

Footini - Your humor never cease to make me laugh. I really got a kick out of this comic especially seeing Werewolf solidarity (even though Kujo is not a werewolf lol). Your perspective and backgrounds are also looking great!!! I recall you mentioned Arts taught you about vanishing points and stuff so it definitely paid  off!

Lefrara - I definitely see Brabbit's cute style influencing you here! I am digging it! Such a shame that it looks unfinished and lacking some backgrounds for context but solid story overall. Wish you elaborated a bit more about the mission too. But hey 12 pages in one week is not an easy feat!
