Reviews / Re: So what comics are you reading?
« on: May 06, 2009, 07:11 AM »
Even though the name sounds like someone in a long bout of Birthing Labor Pain...
ShiLongPang.com is a wonderfull run on a well researched History of Jzoulin Gong Fu_... and it even gripped me emotionaly-twice. I read it up to date in one day.

Also have read all the peices travis has put up here:SpaceGirl

Other than That; the Comics I'm trying to find the time to read are pretty much, well, YOURS!

 Infamy is Spurnsome!

But away from the path etic ate Ego hey?

 Nilla-V!

I'm like Nymphomaniac on a Saddle-horn, with the reality that your stuff has a starkly Digital/Traditional Contrast. It is really dramatised in that last piece there. If you can manage to keep that consistant, it should prove to be an alluring style to get you paying work from if anything else. But you must be Consistant with that theme for it to work.

'Tsall about Sacrifices and determination(whatever, is not), but you get the Idea.

I'm really liking the softness of your work here.
You have still managed to keep it looking sharp as well.
How did you do that?

The Only thing I'd mention is that the Horn in the upper left hand side of the page seems to have the need to be free selected, copied, pasted, and buffed up a little higher and maybe back along the Skull. Like it sorta looks like it's bonering out of her eye socket. Ghod! Where do I come up with this Ghastly - Crass rhetoric?

It's like you are blowing Smoke in my Face.
Sorry, that's how I feel. Maybe you could do something about it.
Mod the post or. . .
Like Andy Koffman; I like certain wrestling scenarios.

 Sheah...h- Tell me about it.

I've easily put in 52 hours on Bizharrow's submission alone.
(if I had only known how to work the "fuzzy select" wand earlyer)

And I totally know what you mean about what you were doing too;

I played around after running myself through the tutorial that came with a
Student version of Fireworks (one of the first flash web animator progs).

I still have that somewhere(fireworks)...have you tried wink?
(it {WINK} can render sound backgrounds and is  free, or open source)

*Ghod! The name of that softwares makin' me sound all Pagan and Gay!*

This was also done entirely with a AipTek Tablet on a trial Open Canvas before the session timed me out and my Pencils ability to Sketch became nill. Still I got pretty far considering it was only a five or six minute sketch. I thought I'd depict Dr. Pi being yelled at by that clacking skull or what ever it is. Maybe you'd like to practice doing the Dr. again.

However this time, if you wanna keep the thread going; . . . the point of the Jam is to do the second drawing of the last post plus a new fighter/character to further the experience for the next poster. Thats what you're sposed to do to keep this thread going. But what you did sufficed.

All that writing up there^, . . . it's not worth your time.

So, yeah, Tablet:

 Wow,

I'm sorry. I didn't know you were allowed only thirty seconds? Can you still up the amount of leaves per second or do you have to stick to a specified number for your Tree of frames?

Art goes a long way Angj...

It is amazing what you can do digitising your stinging, paper cuts! They look a world different once you've invested effort into them with your LapTop or what ever it is. I realy do mean that they are altered so much as to seem to go from Drab Folder Quality to Damnear Gallery print and frame.

Accept this statement however you like. You are Free; but only to the degree of choice no?

I know-I know; "what" right?
