I am still in disbelief that this was a 24 hour battle. The quality you both put out was astounding. Key and Wilma are both adorable characters and seeing them together is just cute overload!
There's really not much I can crit because you both exceeded my expectations. Well done.

All of this was...SO PURE! ;3; These two have to be the sweetest characters on the site. You both are too precious OMG WHY ARE YOU IN SUCH AN AWFUL CITYYY
I know you've heard it like crazy, but it bears repeating both of these comics are crazy slick for a 24 hour battle. And three whole pages each that ALL look good is kind of boggling my mind right now. You guys are flexing some heavyweight grade muscles here and we love to see it. The exchanges between comics was the same in that Key and Wilma were brandishing what their respective wares and talents, but you both gave it their own signature style and twist. Wilma's dutiful assisting of her witch was a fun foray into their style of spellcraft, and Shens side definitely gave cavities with an overall wholesome and sweet exchange.
I really like these characters by the end of it, in equal measure from both sides. You guys have made this a tough vote.

Damn look at both of you putting out better done comics in 24 hours than I manage in 3 weeks XD I'm impressed!!
Shen: Your lines look so clean! I love the small little detail of having Key have misspelled 'jewelry' on his sign, what a precious bean. I also like the way you managed to get the idea of jewelry across without actually detailing it out, and I enjoyed the lil sparkle effects lolI wanna fight Key so badlyyyyyyy
Flytee: Damn I honestly can't believe this comic is only 2 pages and a panel! When I was reading it, it felt much longer--and not in a bad way! It didn't feel like a short story, the whole thing felt like a complete little arc. I loved the interactions between Key and Wilma, and Wilma's expressions are so good hehe. I didn't notice many spelling/grammar errors so I think your lack of a spell checker wasn't too much of a detriment!

Aaah it was very nice to see some nice relaxed interactions!
Shen, I really liked how clean and smooth your inks were! That little marketplace scenario was very sweet, too! Just be more careful next time with your opponent's name, it's kind of a big thing to overlook. Other than that, it was very cute!
Flytee I loved the color choices you made! Very minimal but it sets the tone and vibe of the the whole comic! Vert soft and nice!
I want to see what other kind of adventures these two characters will get into next

Both sides were so adorable, omg ;; I like that you both had themes of protection because the city isn’t safe, that was cool. And amazing job both of you for one day! They both look complete and polished, damn.
Shen - This was just sweet vibes all around The last Abel on page 2 was so pure. I liked that Wilma mistook Key for a transformed familiar at first, and now I’m actually really curious to see what a fish-human familiar might look like in Flytee’s lore! Also I would absolutely buy a necklace made from someone’s own teeth and scales, that sounds pretty rad??
Flytee - I love Wilma’s expressions so much, that wide toad mouth is just so endearing. I like that she’s cheekier than she seems too, I did not at all expect her to cut Key’s hair like that, and the way she’s so cheerful about it too is funny af. And her little face poking out from those bottles at the end, omg. Small detail here but the lines on Lady Oak’s arms add so much. I’m used to seeing old people look pretty much the same as younger ones in cartoony styles, with only superficial wrinkles, but giving her the “kimono arm” look (saggy skin) was a great touch.

ayy submitted.
I did the standard 24-hour battle thing of going for the first idea that popped into my head- As a result, this is a fairly dumb comic buuut I hope you like it anyway!
Also, I didn't have time to get a spell-checker. Apologies if there are any mistakes I missed.
Ok time to collapse! zzz
(THANK YOU SHEN FOR THE BATTLE <3)
