I can see why they picked you for Arma.
Everyone already said what was needed for crits but this was a nice and eerie story to get me hyped for the big event and got me more interested in Klepp.

Great storytelling and eclectic and believable settings. Get that anatomy up to snuff.

You bastard! You finally did it! I have been asking for this comic for awhile now! I am so fucking stoked you finished this!
God damn this shit was compelling. I love watching this unfold for Klepp. This is exactly what I wanted in a comic from you! The writing had me engaged the whole time and your art is so fucking raw. Fuck you Camel, fight me, be my friend, let's get a beer, this was awesome!

This was a quality comic. Well done Camel!
Writing= very compelling, you kept me guessing throughout the story. Art= Extremely unique and memorable, your lighting and page composition are wonderful, they add so much to the atmosphere and really help tell the story.
Yeah I have no crit, I really enjoyed this, super inspiring stuff! Now i'm even more hype for the defender comic.

This is such a great intro for the Arma Defender comic! A good insight on what Klepp went through before the main event.
I have a theory but I think I'll keep it to myself for now cos it might ruin it for others if I am right lol. Gotta agree that human anatomy needs some improvement but overall did not distract me from the mood and the story.
Amazing job! I am so excited to see how this plays out.

Your use of negative space and spotblacks is fucking inspiring. I love klepp so much and this comic was strong both in visuals, tone, strength of style and writing. A well-rounded, excellent showing. I am now even MORE excited for arma!

You made me fall in love with the character design of that elven wizard and then you DASHED ALL MY DREAMS killing him right away. Klepp how dare you?? ;3;
Gosh, what a great prologue and set up to the Klepp we should be expecting for Arma. This gave me such Velvet Chainsaw vibes. There seemed enough told that still managed to continue on being a mystery. What is this malevolent force that's got Klepp in a Gollum tizzy? Why is it using him and for what ends?
I especially loved the tumble into the backpack. The sheer size of that bag of holding was very cave of wonders with all the wealth stocked in there. This was definitely a comic that was a visual treat. Aaaa, I can't wait to see how this culminates in Arma!

Great work Camel the shading and highlights are really nicely done. Poor namesake Klepp has gone and done it this time. He should really go talk to someone about his issues.
Would love to see more Klepp around town!

Goddamn, finishing a B.B. during Armageddon? Kudos my dude.
I enjoyed this! The death on page 12 was so eerie, honestly the entirety of this comic has a great ominous vibe with all the shadows, and the many panels where it’s just a single subject with a background of pure black. I loved the golden lghting on page 15, and holy crap, the bag just opening up and swallowing him?? I’m so so interested in what the hell is going on. Pages 17 and 18 were real Wow moments for me. Though even in the less dramatic scenes, like page 4, I liked the panel choices. Particularly like that last shot of all the different legs and shoes.
On the other hand, I’m not sure how well you succeeded with improving your figures? They stuck out to me, particularly in the beginning, as something that looked off. The woman in the blue dress has these weirdly stumpy and stiff arms, in every panel she’s in my eye is drawn to her arms. A few other characters had faces that looked odd in a way I can’t put my finger on, or necks that looked a bit too long. The guy that Klepp kills looks good though, I really liked his design.
PS Is that idol inspired by a gelada by any chance? The long canines and lifted lip look very familiar.

Phew! Finally got this one off my backlog. This BB was in the works since March, and was a big personal challenge for me, here I focused on some of my artistic weaknesses - figures, and more diverse color palettes. Hopefully it paid off. This comic also ties into Klepp's arc in the upcoming Armageddon 2020, so consider this a bit of a prequel. Thank you!
