Thanks every one for all the great input. I know that my lettering is a bit off but i kinda like my own letters... especially since everyone is sooo picky about fonts. I know i need work on it but its something i just started doing and with enough practice your gonna wish it was a font you can download and use on your own..lol

I would like to color most of my stuff but im a penciler and inker by heart. thats gonna be my focus for now on.
Also i hate coloring on the computer i feel so weird using my tablet. but i will be doing some actual painting
in the near future for my stories.
the story is a bit slow right now but it will pick up and you'll soon find out what happen to Void city and its planet.

thanks again for the kind and technical support from everyone here.

Haha Toast said what I was going to say. What I appreciated most about your linework here was the very subtle variation--almost too subtle in places, but there are parts whers it adds depth. I love the closeups on Pyko's gloves, for example. Also, very nice use of solid blacks.

Berto, I think the only way I could have given higher marks on this is if it was in color.

Awesome, and I'm looking forward to more.

Pon:  Great work, man.  I actually thought that your handwritten text fit the art pretty well.  It wasn't perfect but it obviously had a similar line quality to it that worked in my opinion.  I thought that this was paced very well and I didn't think that there was a problem at all in regards to the plot.  There isn't much character development from point A to point B, but this chapter does serve to help flesh out Pyko's story and point of view.  Well executed.  Pyko's the coolest, most interesting character I've seen in a long time.  I excited to see where you go with this.

I have to say that I too feel like this is the slickest and cleanest and even most detailed comic I've seen from you Ponbiki on the site.  And man I am digging it.  And I love the last page, it's got a nice explosion going on, and is a sudden boost of excitement in what has otherwise been a quiet and calm story.  It's like a harbinger of things to come.  I can't wait to see more.

I like methodical, slower paced stuff and your work reflects the appeal of it, showing how a balance of both something and nothing can be very effective. The images take their time building a real air of mystery, suspense and awe to the events that have been as tragic as they are enigmatic. You can feel time slowing to a crawl and it puts you right next to Pyko, watching and learning what to do next alongside him.

Still my favorite artist on the site. Looking forward to the next chapter!

I would suggest you try something else with your lettering. Either do it digitally, or break out an Ames guide, as of now it's pretty difficult to read.

It took me a while to realize he was inside the box, and a it would be nice to have some sort of idea what the structure of the cube is, or at least show some reference to other rooms. As it is now, each area he is in seems to be its own self contained room with no adjoining hallways.

I like style but it some places I couldn't really tell what was going on. On page six panel one, I have no idea what that image is and I don't see it anywhere else.

Storywise, I wish more had happened. At the end of the story I have no more insight into the character or the plot than at the beginning. I think more could have happened in the same page span. I kind of like where its headed, I am just waiting for it to actually start.

I like this style and I encourage you to keep exploring this. You should take a look at Moebius, especially his 40 days in the desert, which is reminiscent of this style.

I am gonna complain about the black page of nothingness right off the bat. I really don't like that sort of thing, but since it was only used once I think it would have worked really nice to have a logo or a title or something on it. I can tell you have a grand story to tell here though and I eagerly await more chapters of Pyko's story dude.

I really thought the artwork was strong in this one, your style seems to be so versatile. I've seen you draw a bunch of different styles and characters from things done in your previous comics and posts you make on the forum, you're one of my favourite artists on the site man. Just keep up the good work!

man Pon,i love the slow start to be honest,
builds up the momentum quite nice actually, the pacing is really wel done,I love the hand written texting in it,..

the linework reminds of this eastern guys who illustrated''No 13''..don't know his name tho.anyway awesome so far,i have my doubts about the nose of the character especially in the side views...but that might be a style thing tho.

thanks,enjoyed it alot !

This is definitely the strongest I've seen from you lineart wise, I hope you continue to work this way with this guy! You are however still having some issues with your text not working well with the art. Now it is an improvement from the intros, perhaps try one of these

No idea how well this one works but it looks nice

If you want something more organic and hand written looking (I used this one on the Dreams comic, it's a nice font but it can be kind of a pain in the ass with the spacing between lines)
