yoooo this was a really good comic! I love the story and the conflicts presented--there was a good mix of interpersonal and big epic drama! My biggest gripes with the story are the inclusion of the "The story so far"--though this is mostly because of my own tastes, lol. I'm not a huge fan of "the story so far" summaries slapped into things. I think this one could've potentially worked a bit better if it had been put at the beginning instead of a few pages in. Where it is now it kind of interrupts the story and the flow... and in my opinion it isn't even overly necessary. I completely skipped the page on my first readthrough and had no problem getting the gist of what was going on. Don't doubt your ability to fill in the reader on what's going on without a summary! You did a good job at that!
I also kind of agree with Arts that the scene with the thieving was a little muddled, but overall that scene was my favorite! Some really good action and excellent visuals!! also the ending was SO GOOD I loved Zoey finally snapping and Klippo's last little moment when he joins the group.

Thank you everyone for the comments and critiques! As a little treat, I thought it'd be fun to show you just what the sketch pages looked like while we were doing this. They had helpful notes for Camel when it came to inking and coloring, and there's silly flavortexts to help cut the stress of making something like this in two weeks, plus extension!

Great job on this, you both work well together and this comic has a unique style to it. There is a clarity issue with the stealing scene, The gold ball on page 12 that pocket was trying to steal is only clearly shown when they're falling down and pocket isn't holding onto it. Afterwords it doesn't look like that gold ball appeared and it looked like Pocket failed to steal anything (which is what i thought happened on my first couple read through). That's the only crit I have and the rest of this is very well done and I love the distinct colors for each scene.

Amazing work, you guys knocked it out of the park.
I was really struck by the strong sense of atmosphere in this comic and how cinematic some of the scenes felt. Really inspiring stuff, I'm excited for more!

About the only critique I can muster is about "the story so far" and that is merely the text. Or the background behind the text, perhaps boardered or with larger text written on a gravestone or somesuch... Nevertheless. I enjoyed this read and can't wait to see how the thieving rat child gets his tail cooked.

This is such a gorgeous comic! I love the colors and how perfectly they fitted the mood as it changed around throughout the story. Really well done and congratulations!

Me being a newbie that don't know much of the context behind the stories of these characters cause I haven't read comics yet.
But overall THIS IS A GOOOOOD COMIC AAAAA. I fucking love the idea that hell(?) is a bank lmfao. I really like the dynamic between all the characters, the flow of the story, and the reaction after the climactic moment. The art style is nice too, the reaper looking just slightly obscure to make it seem all the more sinister than the traditional spoopyskelington in a black cloak. Really love the colors too, nothing was too jarring in transition.
And fucking Klippo at the end, lmfao.
GOOD JOB THE BOTH OF YOU GOOD BEANS YOU ARE I WISH I CAN GIVE CRITS IDK WHAT SAY

Gotta say that Zoey and the Gravediggers is a great horror rock band name.

Klippo runs an errand. Pocket makes a withdrawal. Zoey gets angry.

I agree with what others have said about the theft scene and recap, but I also wanted to comment on the colouring. While the palettes were great, the colouring itself was sometimes messy, clearly going outside of the lines enough times to be distracting. There were also panels where the background quality dipped significantly, such as the last page and the recap page. Since this is a B.B. I’m not sure why you set a hard deadline, just an extra day could have been used to clean things up.
