Fel, I got the storyline linking thing, too, but it was kinda weird because it seemed like you were setting the stage for the 3-way, which you\'re not involved in, and which Monday already set the stage for with his BB. THAT is what confused me, really. Nothing else.

mamoru i been told u wat i thought...even as u was making it, colors are eye catching as usual, and loved the fight scenes ...especially where mize and ashito became weapons themselves.

Zombi, aside from the RIDICULOUS quality that you have in your pages, I was really expecting more from you. I mean, everything was so huge and epic and monstrous; I was really disappointed to have it be incomplete. Congratulations on your marriage, and I hope that you complete this entry with whatever free time you have in the future.

Wei, your pencils are seriously some of the best around, but it just doesn\'t cut it this time. I also have some beef with how old and masculine Mize looks (he\'s supposed to be a bit femmy, isn\'t he?) but that\'s just a little thing. Anyway, it was still a good entry, and I hope to see completed stuff from you in the future. Maybe a lite 3-page BB sometime?

Mamoru, damn, you pulled out the stops for this one. I didn\'t even notice that you edited the fight to include Mjoliner and P2, and that\'s a good sign. There was a significant drop in quality starting at page 14, and continued on for a good bit, so I marked you down for that. The story itself was short and simple, although I\'m still wondering what happened to the giant fire snake that they were supposed to take care of. Also, I\'m very much glad to see your colors again, and I\'m glad you decided to run with them for this round. I don\'t have the guts to throw down with you just yet, but definitely one of these days.

Feleny, that was some hardcore shit. Maybe I\'m the only one who thought the storyline was brilliant, but then again, it\'s all tying up the different arcs that have been occuring in some previous battles. you had me thinking \"Oh shit, what happens next?! Who\'s that?!\" the whole time, and props for that. Definitely some of your best work to date, the improvement from past stuff is very apparent. The quality was also consistent and the pin-up/splash pages were beautiful. You\'ve got the win from me, there\'s a reason you\'re at the top of the list.

Mamo got my vote followed by Fel\'s. They had the most complete of stories and decent all around. Good job guys. Wei, you have this awesome creative story starting out and it cut short, I\'m sure had you have more time maybe you can do more. Zombi, I was so amazed by the high quality of your pages, I was so down to see it end so soon. Quality wise you got everyone beat but everything else suffered for it.

Zombi... Your fight is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen on this site. It literally blew the top off my rating standards. I felt like I needed to give you BETTER than an A in Quality becuase I have given A\'s for so much lesser work.

I am begging you; FINISH YOUR BATTLE. Do a BB, or post it on the forums, or whatever. You owe it to the world. We NEED to experience the completed beauty.

That said, I gave the fight to Mamoru for consistent quality across the board: art, concept, and story.

Fel, I liked how much you brought to the table with this fight, art-wise. Your writing style is still a bit confusing to me. Basically, what I took away from it was that Johnny Warsaw hired Theatre Hazard to kill Paddy McBastard. But... I thought Johnny and Paddy were on the same side. Is there some sort of plot twist that would have explained it that you didn\'t get to include in this fight?

Wei, you\'re great at drawing. That much is really apparent. What is also apparent is that you consistently bite off more than you can chew with your battles. Maybe aim a little lower next time, to give us a finished, inked, colored battle? I for one would really look forward to that.

the fact that I got as much done as I did was an undertaking in itself.....I have been working massive amounts of overtime the last few weeks..I redid my plans and sketches at least three times....I let myself become too involved with the undertaking rather than just sit the fuck down and doing it..got too worried about making it good enough and big enough instead of worrying about getting it finished..and then all my free time got sucked up by my job, my life and the SDT ...but yah the art is crappy....just not enough there.....I truly don\'t expect to win or come in anything less than last.....but I am glad people are appreciative of the effort I put into the story if not the time for the art

that being said here are my honest and unabashed responses to the other entries

ZOMBI: great art..no doubt....great art......but where the hell are the pages?......this is all the stuff you were working on fer your original fight with Mam from weeks before we started this one.... they are pretty damn-tastic.. but you got absolutely nothing about P2 or Mjolinir anywhere.... I know you have had a shitload on the go as well..BIG life altering shit..but you had how many weeks before we scheduled this and how many weeks since?.
...to be honest you defaulted....you didn\'t include all of your opponents in the comic

Mam: great stuff as always....but the addition of the pages containing P2 and Mjolinir to the original storyline and art you had for your fight vs. Zombi is very apparent.....the images are much sloppier and rushed....still you managed to pull the story off quite well....meshing together with your original script...the art just wasn\'t there consistently for the whole comic...good stuff overall........you got the win if you ask me

fel: great lookin....but yah it got sorta confusin and too much was going on with too little explanation....you need to work on having the substance to go with all that style...in my opinion you come out a second by a hair

mamoru comes in second. best story out of the four, and second best in quality. i don\'t relaly know what else to say....but it was really good.

wei, decent story, but the art was lacking. i mean, it wasn\'t bad, but given so much time i thought there woulda been more to it than just pencilings. at least inked, maybe coloured.

fel, i can see you getting better with each comic, i really enjoyed the visuals. only problem is the way you set up the story is pretty confusing, and it seemed like you were trying to do too much at once.
