Both of you: As I mentioned in the discord, I LOVE both of the twists you guys had! They were both excellent plot twists that still had enough buildup that when they hit it was a "damn I should've seen that coming!"

Orion: I think this is my favorite of these one-day battles you've done! It also felt like a really great way to wrap everything up, and I loved the storyline in it. For me, the biggest downside is that the text is a little hard to read in some places where it looks like you kind of ran out of room in the bubbles.

Shen: I love the heavy blocks of black  you used, really sets the mood!! And daaaaamn Ghost u so ruthless :Y I've looked through the comic several times and I can't even find anything to critique... This is seriously impressive for just 24 hours!

Orion: it's really good that you have been doing all these 1 day battles for the month and it's great to see you push your self with these challenges and you have improved. My only crit of this one would be i wish there was a good establishing shot since your other one days all had a nice establishing shot that worked well for them.

Shen: this is fantastic in 1 day holy crap. your inks are amazing and the way you use spot blacks is so good. This is all just amazing and i love it, i don't really have any crits for it.

Thank you all for commenting and voting on all my comics. This was a fun experiment and will be something I will try again in the future as I find it to be a very effective way to work on the comic muscles from week to week if I am not in a battle. I am glad it was such a success and that you all enjoyed it so much.

Flytee: Ghost has the drunk, he ended up vampin' and nappin' too sleepy the lil' murderer.

TheCydork: Yeah I was a little worried about establishing the roof spot that going in and I think yeah it failed a bit. I think a little more breathing room in the shots might have helped but I was too focused on the sitting part of the shot with the time limit that it just sort of slipped through.Something I'll have to keep in mind next time.

Shen, thank you again for the last minute party favor for my last 24 hr battle for August. Now I have had a swing at two of your boys I might be satisfied for a while (jk not really ) and glad to have had this opportunity with them once again. I hope I can start up again with these very soon on a weekly and I do intent to find out what kind of trouble David will be in for next >;3c

Orion - I really enjoy these 24 hour matches you've done. Your improvement in each one is pretty apparent and what a way to close it with a fight with Ghost. Shame you did not finish it fully but you've done more comic than I could ever do in 24 hours! Good job!

Shen  - I still can't believe you just did this in 24 hours. The quality is amazing and there's an exciting plot to boot! I did not expect the outcome (Poor David! He does not deserve the trouble Ghost put him in).

Ghost is definitely one of my top characters that I am looking forward to battling. He is mischievous, evil  and cunning. He's such a fun character to watch.

Orion: I'm also enjoying this episodic 1-day battle series you're doing, keep it up!

Shen: you've outdone yourself! This comic would be good for 2 weeks, let alone a day. My only nitpicks are that Ghost should have reported a murder, not just an assault, and he should have specified that the killer was headed to the bar, then maybe have lights and sirens coming in the distance through the bar window. Other than that, this comic is just great.

Orion: I love how your comics continue each other. Alone, they seem like incomplete thoughts, but this continuing story has been very entertaining to read. Did... Ghost change his mind and then pretended to fall asleep to save face, or did he actually pass out, though?

Shen: that's pretty ambitious, having not only inks but bold spot blacks in a 24 hour comic. It really paid off, and it carries the comic with style in the places where the artwork is a little off kilter (understandably so). A full horror story in a short, 24 hour comic: Good work!

Both of these were so good, what a way to end a 24 hr battle month!

Orion - What a nice, wholesome end to David's night out partying! I agree with Cy that this battle feels like your most polished, something about the lines was really appealing.

Shen - Gosh, Ghost is such a jerk. XD The heavy inking really fit for this battle (and looks great!), and what a twist! You really set up for an interesting plot for David with this, poor guy.

Orion- This was a fun comic! You have a really distinct art style, I enjoy it quite a bit. The story was also pretty wholesome :> good job

Shen- This is quite the achievement in 24 hours. I'm so in love with your art style, the expressions, the body language, everyone is just oozing with personality. Writing-wise this was a really cool set up for a bigger story. poor Davids faaar too nice.

Orion - Even though the last page was just a sketch, I feel like this comic is more polished than your other 24 hour battles. I like that David and Ghost just sit and talk, and I thought Uncle Murphy’s flossing was kind of sweet in a cheesy way haha. My only critique is that the roof area isn’t shown very well and I’m not sure where the bodies are in relation to David and Ghost.

Shen - This is really nice for a 24 hour comic! I love this style of black and white shading and god Ghost is so evil I LOVE it!! The panels with the torch and blood were especially good, though the bar environment and beer mugs look a little floaty.
