Hello, everyone! Sorry, I'm slow to respond- I had a lot of things going on lately ( a lot of schoolwork).
Thanks for all your helpful advice. I agree with everything you all are saying. Lately, I've been working on my anatomy, but I'm pretty slow progress wise. I really don't have much anything else for this character, I gotta develop him more. I have no clue what to do with line width, I better study that more .  Yep, there's a lot of work ahead of me, but I think it would be fun and help my art get better if I keep at it.

I'm so happy everyone is interested in this character. This is a nice community here. Before I had no clue as to how to improve my art, but now I know what to do.

Once again, thanks for all your help. I'm going to work on this some more and I'll try to be more active on this site - it's awesome!

Here goes nothing...

still working on this guy, he has low self-esteem and takes way too many Asteroids (an experimental mood boosting drug) occasionally-the stuff really pumps him up!

Here's something I'm working on right now, this piece shows him in default form and Asteroid (real man) form.

More Hypolix... when I get more stuff put together I will start incubating Hypolix. Here he must combat a pale-looking banana nut muffin.

This is a character that I plan on submitting here someday, he is known as Hypolix.

Hi, thanks for your feedback!

Your right I use a mouse to color. First I draw on regular paper then I scan it into Manga Studio and I go from there. I had a tablet, but it doesn't work anymore.

Sometimes I rush the coloring a bit and it goes outside the lines, I need to learn to be patient.

Thank you for your comments! I'm trying to get my anatomy and proportions down, and now I know I should also focus on my coloring too. I search through art tutorials online from time to time.

Yep, back to the drawing board to tweak some things.

This here is a fully body shot of an anthropologist character. Right now he has no personality though, I might further develop him.

This is going to be were I put some arts. These are random pieces, but they are all reflective of my current art skill level - so none of my old stuff is here (that would be too embarrassing). Slowly but surely, I will continue to make more and more art pieces. I'm open to critiques and new ideas. Eventually, I'm gonna submit a character here, but that won't be until a good while. Need to plan some more...

I am primarily self-taught, I only took one art class at community college- Intro to drawing...just thought I'd through that out there.
