I'm compartmentalising the current 20 or so funny guys by groups of 5 both on the site and here on the forums.

The intent to have nothing but pretty boys in fanciful armours wasn't practical in reality so I needed to break it up with guys who were easy to draw.

I have been doing a character design challenge on ComicFury for the month of April. It's been fun!

Diov Sanguine is a lot easier to design and brainstorm than Diov Quicksilver (who is a demon) ever will be aaaooouuugghhhhhh.

Duncan was coined for the Monster Maker tournament and I hope I have the time to finalise his design by October lol.

I have been posting the lower resolution version and the higher resolution decluttered version of the reference picture of Sanguines Valentines Day Collab masquerade outfit back to back wherever I could remember to bother, heheheh.

This is Sanguines outfit for anyone who possibly needs it~ Or is kind and generous enough to grant me the privilege of having him cameo in your personal comic contribution to this collab!

Pencil drawing of Quicksilver that came out modestly okay, that I cooked up for a commission sheet that's on the backburner.

Informal Introduction Post/Master Post:

Hello this is a thread I've been meaning to make for quite a while as an excuse to learn by trying to explain what I know* (a learning tool suggested by many people I've directly and indirectly interacted with)*.

I know for a fact that I'm not alone in being frustrated with the journey without an end that an artist undertakes to become the very best they hope to be and it seems like many people who hope to help others out, they omit a lot of crucial information, either due to taking it for granted or not knowing enough themselves.

It is my hope to use this thread to selflessly help others attain more clarity or patch up holes in their knowledge and selfishly for me to become a better artist by better comprehending some things too.

(This is gonna be a toughie).

*Much to my chagrin, what I know is not sufficient or is theoretical and not in unison with my skill level/experience.
*Comically (or insufferably) this advice goes against the old saying of "those who can't: teach".

So the key to having so much diversity of character designs were adoptables? You're actually practicing using the system as it's intended to be used in theory. I seldom see anyone who buys up adoptable characters to actually harness all that premade potential into something and that legitimately makes you an outlier, wowie.

Still insane how much mental horsepower you dedicated to all these funny little guys. Really spoiling people for choice here, haha.

This is prince Ganymede, I originally wanted to submit a revised character sheet for him as my Gala Regalis entry but I am contemplating not being a masochist and exerting myself so he gets spared the meat grinder. But this means that I'm still submitting him to Void regardless and I'll overhaul him quite a bit on the way too, since this reference sheet has quite a few issues to say the least ahah. Aiden is lucky to have a modestly wealthy royal as a boyfriend.
