A derelict Juvenile with a generally friendly Nature, Zalice Velasquez found her way into Void City several years ago and had been living on it's streets ever since. Despite her friendly demeanor she tends to find herself in some form of trouble or another. These things tend to happen when you're half kaiju. She tries to use her abilities to help people but most such attempts end up going awry. She had an immense fondness for fruits and likes to call people fruity nicknames.

As a half kaiju she has the ability to shift between a human and monster form at will, though it's not an all or nothing transformation; she can change body parts individually if she so chooses. monsterized limbs generally are bigger and stronger than humanized ones. In addition, she can grow a number of reptilian adaptations should the situation arise, like frills or gecko toe pads. However she can only have one adaptation in use at once, and so must swap them out if she needs another. when in full monster form, she must revert back to a more human state in order to swap more prominent adaptations. She also can fire energy beams from her mouth, as kaiju are known to do, and the strength, range and duration increase with her size and the closer she is to being fully in her monster form.

Her monster form has a minimum height of about 10' and an upper limit of about 1200' though growing to such size is rare. She has full control over her transformations and it is not caused involuntarily via emotion or distress, excepting that such conditions cause her to voluntarily make the shift. Zal is somewhat hyperactive and can come across as simple minded. When in her human form she suffers from a sort of sensory overload, since a human nervous system is overloaded by her enhanced kaiju senses. The result is something akin to severe adhd.
