Shade!! Im so sorry i only found this now! Yeah i remember you\'ve hanging onto this story for awhile. Good to finally see it soaking the light of day.

I love the overall tone of the piece. Definitely sad and tragic... a ghostly mood. I can imagine M. Night Shyamalan doin the movie adaptation. Or better yet, one of the Jap helmers of The Ring/Grudge/Eye etc.
The scenario of vainly trying to bring James to life was the PERFECT plot vehicle to shed more emotional light onto Unknown while also showing us more glimses of her origin/identity. The black death (or is it blood?) that covers her body is up there with the Japanese for great horror imagery!!
The writing and characterizations are great. The art (extra KUDOS for being completely analog) is spot-on: suitably muted colors (although ur Lotus fight was more elaborate), well designed panels & pages, ur anatomy is practically flawless (i cudnt help marvel at the way u drew all the hands!! PERFECT everytime! Drawing hands are such a bitch for me...) and u do a killer rendition of Ayumi.

Overall a satisfying, yet teasingly mysterious (just like the Lotus fight), character piece. I wonder what she really is doing in the hospital looking up files of Void denizens...

I hope to see more Unknown in the arena! She\'s one of the few original (the ironic double-edged sword of being a healer and bringer of death at the same time) & promising characters here on Void.

Snakemeat - I\'m trying make sense of your post, but from what I can tell you seem to like it.  It\'s a bit of an unorthodox way of expressing it though.  Danke.

Kure (and Voodoo) - Yeah I read that comic too in one of the clarifications thread.  Funny, but unless Spikes actually submits it as a BB or something, I don\'t consider it canon.  ^_^  Besides, I had this well in the works before that came out.  I had no intention of dropping the story only for that.  And this doesn\'t really effect their story too much because Unknown basically told Ayumi to go pound salt.  Just for the record, James should probably be moved out of VC General Hospital now.  Too many people by now probably know his location.

Outstanding. Crazilly inducing Delusions of Grandure and Bi-Poloar Swings from Frustration to Claustriphobia; schitzo-effectivly disordered(psichic chatter). At the same time somehow electroclitickly(@%#$!eroticly) stimulating.
There is a reason I had a dream My mouth was being Sown shut I just know it.
More than Mind Blowing. The goosebumps chase eachother all over my body when I read this.
Makes me want to shake my root wand of giant ceadar(Redwood)at the Sky.
A  bask in the light of Deadly Friend(A movie I never saw). Makes me seriously question the institution of matrimony. Re-ignites the spiritual fire of the Fae in me blood and of me Soul.
Could use a little more cation though. It seems Kind of Cocky no?

BTW: Is James really dead? Or is he just in a coma...?

Uh yeah, this takes place shortly after Unknown\'s battle with Lotus.  It just took me a long time to finish.  Personally I just wanna move on to better things.  This working with marker is this way just isn\'t working for me.
