The work is beautiful, your colors look great to me.  If I had only one critique... I'd ask if you'd thought of going digital, like doing your work with an art program?  Also your clothes designs are amazing, my favorite would be the sailor princess and the poofy dress with the girl that has pigtails.

Sadly no not in a battle right now, I've reached out to the two people who last talked to me about battling but maybe I took to long and now they're busy.  I'm currently working on a 20 page comic to present to comic book publishers at C2E2 in April but I'm also looking for a battle.  I think I'll look at my options for the next battle soon.  And yes this is technically a re-re-re-REdesign, I'm not gonna upload it right now though cause it'd be time consuming and I really need to either battle or work on the 20 pager.  To answer another question she's still 35 in this picture and some of her minions are huge too yes, however she rules over a very wide range of different monsters, from those that could dwarf planets to those no bigger than an ant.
Also the 20 pager will be about these characters which I've never shown on Void before.

I've already gotten the script typed out now I need to figure out page layout and so on.  Oh, and the re-upload of Edu and two is because I wanted to make the guy on the right, the Councilor, more interesting in appearance.

Not sure about the whole Void lore... but as far as I am concerned this guy aint fully dead... he is now a zombie...

"ZOMBIE BUTCHER WANT BRAINS!!!!"

sorry kind of lame quality quick ink sketch in the ol' sketchbook, quick snap shot with the ol' iPod, and tones in the ol' Photoshop

Looks great to me, has a great style to it that just looks right.

Thanks Red, and the handwritten word bubbles was a suggestion from a fellow artist on the site.  I'd thought I'd give it a go.  Thanks for the critique and I'll try out doing typed fonts as well.

What I've got so far for pages 1-3.  I think adding a little info box for panel 1 page 2 to explain the transition a bit as I don't want to really reveal the character till after the swamp is devoured.  On page 3 the city will get some shading and the text box in the last panel is just a temporary stand-in.  I'm also not sure if I want to change the panels in page 2 either as I'm kinda eager to get to the next comic and a battle.  I also kept the sound effects as I like them as they are now, and I personally like the "smash".  Once again feedback is welcomed, after this post I'm concentrating on finishing the last 3 pages and just submitting it all.  Last thanks for all the comments and feedback thus far, it all helps greatly.

thanks for the feedback and I've started adjusting pages 1 and 2 tonight.  also after showing another friend he said the same about the transition.  I'll try adding another panel for a transition into the carnage. and I'll try seeing what it looks like if I pulled the camera further away during the last panel of page 2.  started page 3 as well.  after I've done the adjustments and done page 3 I'll re-upload to get some more feedback and work out the last pages based on what you guys give me.  Also your right I took out some of the other elements from the first page on the second, I was experimenting a bit to see which I preferred and I'll have chosen by my next upload.  also the character is already in I just redesigned her.  I finished the character sheet awhile ago before starting the comic pages for reference.  once again thanks for all your guidance guys I'll have the updates up shortly.

Wow these are amazing, my favorite is the brain one.  I'd rock gear with all of your stuff on it.  You should consider printing some shirts and other items and try selling at cons.  Your work is down right awesome!

I wanted some feedback on some pages I've developed for my character.  I've changed her design and also created a sort of reintroduction.  It explains her change in appearance and I'm planning to make it longer.  I wanna do 6 pages or more but I'm aiming for 6 for now.

I used 2 pages to show the change and I'm working on the third now.  I'm mainly looking for feedback on colors and writing.  I'm doing this kinda on the fly with a loose script for now.

work on page 2.  ok, at this point I'm gonna start rapping it all up as recommended.  I'll adjust the character sheet to take out the boots and such and then spend time typing up the bio today.  I'm planning on having this all done by this weekend if plans allow it.  can't wait to see how this character develops and how you guys will develop the character as well.  I also look forward to learning a ton about comic development and more.

Thanks for the feed back
Font adjustments will be made
I enjoy the way i do my lines but ill try some more line variations in the next comic

I did do thumbnails first before doing the comic pages, ill work on figuring out more dynamic and interesting panels for future comics.

Last could you be more specific about the color.  Ive always lacked in that area but want to improve so a detailed message that i can apply to my next comic would be a great help.
Thanks again guys

Pages 1, 3, and 4 in color finalized.  any and all critques will of course help.  I'm having trouble with figuring out a more interesting page 2.  I'll be taking time on it this week to figure out something.  I've started to color the cover picture of the character as well.  I have a pre-made character sheet for this character but I need to modify it, the original had boots, a blue tongue and was 25 feet tall. I'm posting below so you guys can see.  I'll be working on the bio once the comic and cover are done.  thanks for your input and help guys.

Got a little on bio.
Edu is an other worldly being that has a massive family.  The family is know by some magic users and summoners as the great beast of the black primordial abyss.  Edu is the youngest and smallest of all her siblings, she is also the physically weakest member of the family but is one of the most gifted.

Princess Edu:
Height: about 20 feet, give or take (plus heels)
Weight: a little over 2 to 3 tones. Taking in account, fat, muscle, and giant arms and tail
Age: really old, this is Edu's 7th life

Notes:
Lazy- personality
rather lay about eating, sleeping, or singing then fight.

Gluttonous- trait/ personality
Always hungry, always

Giant- trait
Edu is huge, giving her advantages and disadvantages that you'd expect from a giant.

Other Worldly traits- trait
many unearthly traits, anatomy and more.
Such as tough, rubbery skin that wards off most blunt attacks and weak impacts.  However Edu's biggest weakness would be pointy things, sharp blades can cut with ease.
Voice is off, sounds gurgling and wet.

Alien speech and language-   trait
native tongue sounds like nothing from earth, looks like strange symbols.

4 sages- NPCs
live in Edu's stomach, the abyss, dancing around the" faded ember stone" Which produces the only light source in the abyss but only for those that seek light in the dark.  Those with strong affinity to fire or light can see it And reach it sooner than those that don't.

Faded Ember Stone- artifact
a once powerful magic stone that would produce a giant flame that would light and heat an entire city, but in the abyss it's flames are quieted, and only produce a small faded ember that can only be sighted by those that seek light in the dark.

Call to Dinner- Ability
an odd and goofy song that Edu sings to call other unworldly monstrosities to her aid and throws them in to a famished state of hunger.
Song-
"Naw, crunch, bite, consume, devour, swallow, all come together to feast it is time, it is time to NAW, CRUNCH, BITE, CONSUME, DEVOUR, SWALLOW", Song is sang in multiple languages mixed together.

The abyss stomach- Area
Edu's stomach is an abyss with no light except for the "faded ember stone".  The abyss is not empty, it is filled with a massive sea of black and has islands scattered about.  Many things inhabit the abyss, monsters and beyond. A few creatures can illuminate themselves to attract pray. There are also ruins from many different civilizations all over the abyss.

SWALLOW!!!- ability
Edu is capable of creating a massive wind tunnel that can suck almost anything up.  The force is extremely powerful.  If you are too close you'll get sucked in.

Reincarnation/ Immortality- trait
Edu's species can live forever provided they are not killed. However if one is killed they reincarnat centuries later with vague memories of their past lives. For this reason 2 family members of the species keep detailed documents of all past lives.  Many of their species also keep journals.

P.S.-I'm typing on phone here so i dont know if it may goof some words or grammer here and there. The final bio will have mote detail.

One of my initial gripes bout the art is that I would like to see more variation in the line weights. I also feel like you could spend more time on Page 2, and make it more detailed and epic. We're so far away from the action!

I'm intrigued. I can't wait to see more.

Thanks for your feedback guys.  And yeah, I'll definitely add detail to page 2, about the lines, I perfer it as is currently, I may try out some line variations at a later date.  I do thank you for your input though, all that is productive and helps.

don't be discouraged....I am about to drop the brutal honesty hammer on you.....because I see a lot of potential here so I want to help you further...and I am telling you this in advance because so many people get butthurt from the honesty hammer

the handwritten text looks cheap and kinda crappy especially in contrast to how neat and clean everything else is..either work on your handwriting...digi-scribble looks like shit...or grab some free fonts off the net(we have threads with excellent locales fer that)...

the lack of uniformity in the gutters/borders is distracting

you have nice clean lines for the character....why is the eye so digi-scribbly?

despite seeing what you are going for with panels at this point you are coming across as taking up space as opposed to creating dramatic effect...i think you need to re-consider the 'camera' angle and distance....perhaps throw in another panel to break up the giant one
Thanks! All of that helps a lot.  Yeah had some trouble with the panel boarders white boarder.  And I was going for something different for the eye, but I see your point.  And ok, about the fonts, I use Paint Tool SAI and it sadly has no font function.  I'll look into a way to make it work.  I did try clean words at first but thought scratchy would fit panels better.  Well either way this all helps a lot, I'll be make'n those adjustments today, Thx! And don't worry about discouraging me dood, I love productive criticism, how else would I learn. So lay it on thick

Above is my page 1 for Jill's intro comic.  There's no talking for these panels as it's more of Jill freak'n out.  This is her appearing before the dark entity that gave her, her powers.  I've decided that Jill's adventures in Void will take place inbetween my solo story for this character.  basically before Void, where the her main story is set up and she's experienced enough to be skilled with her powers, and after void which would be the climax and closing of her story, well maybe, kind of think I would just have her story go on till I'm bored with it.  I struggled for a while to see how I should do these panels so took me a minute.  Will be starting of page 2 and taking any advice or comments I get from you guys and my friends I'm sharing this with. thx

Oh, and below, I came across some old pirate characters of mine and thought they'd be a ton of fun.  So I started doing a mock intro comic for them as practice and for ideas.  only 4 members are present in this comic but there are 5 total.  My idea would be to submit them all as a single character, they'd just go around looking for a treasure they will never find, because they don't realize they already have it.  They get to void by sailing there on their ship, which jumps through time and space whenever they flip a magic coin.  The coin's ability to do this is the ultimate treasure but they're convinced that the real treasure is yet to be found.  They're dumb but brilliant.
