Nachte: A little too much lacking in depth and values since alot of it boils down to lines and gradients, but hopefully the next comic will impress more!

Nachte: Your art gives me extremely mixed feelings. On one hand, I love your style; on the other hand, everything felt sketchy and unfinished. I think the gradients made the problem worse, other than the few panels where you were able to add lighting to foreground elements properly. I didn't follow your story completely, because I'm unfamiliar with all of these characters (and haven't read Round 1 yet :O), but I loved the way you showed Frank's motivation through that flashback. I could very much feel his anger when he confronted Ashley, so in that sense I think this comic was a success.

You got a free pass this round, so don't let it go to waste! Make the next round more finished, and keep up all of the good work you're already doing! I can't wait to see what happens next!

PS—I know you could very much have won this round without a free pass; I'm not trying to suggest otherwise. I just wanted to push you a little because there were a lot of good comics this round, and you're going to need to bring your A game more and more each round! Good luck!

I feel like I havent been learning very much about Leader this tourney- like hes been around, being basically in charge but all the character development has gone elsewhere? Im interested in this story and where it goes and your art is superb but I'd like to know a bit more about who I'm following! but the stuff with Ashley and Frank was awesome! Great round, looking forward to see what you do next!

Frazzle - Sad you couldn't commit,  but hey life happens! Do what you gotta do, Frazz Jazz.

Nachte - Another great set of pages with some really nicely done grayscales.  I did get a little lost in some of the line work.(Page 4 first panel It took me awhile to realize he was looking at an inmate) My favorite part of this comic was the whole Frank and Ashley flashback. It was a nice piece of character development that tied the two guys together.   I also enjoyed Leader's interactions with Ashley and the previous tenants from round 1, but I  have to agree with the previous statements that it would be cool to see more development with Leader throughout the rest of his predicament.
Overall, this was a solid entry!

Man, all my ponies are coming up lame in the second leg of this race.  :/

On the bright side, their defaults mean I don't have to see an awesome comic lose.  First Doc Fab, and now Leader, both artists utilizing their opponent's characters exceptionally well.  Can't wait to see the next installment!

Damn leader, but you're only 17... can you even handle it?

Yo natche, great effort on this comics. Loved that you used a cool plot to tie it around these characters. This is gonna be real confusing though if you do end up going against qyz in the next round and you have to scramble to find a use for his character all while taking down Frazzler in the next comic.

Nachte: I really liked this story set up and it's cool you have a little villain for Leader to contend with now. I was super interested with the past you created for Ashley and it didn't really disappoint. I hope next round you're able to elaborate on it more and explain more of Ashley's past if you're given time.

As a character, Leader feels like a cool vehicle, but I wish there was more to learn about him right now, since it feels like he's been sort of untouched in development since SDT and All-Together Now. I would love to learn more about him in the future (even if you don't know anything in particular).

Your art was looking great still, you have a terrific foundation and your line-work is really cool looking. Despite the lesser detail, your greyscale looks really strong and I like how you do it. The gradient effect is very effective and makes for a really well developed and great image that draws me in.

It's hard to say much on what to work on, because so much of this is strong, but I think you could maybe add a few line details to the world around the characters to help it be more involved? Also, first page first panel, those speech bubbles could be reversed in position and have the same meaning, but they would look more natural, instead of hopping over one character to reach another.

Overall, great comic as last time, don't get too caught into Final Fantasy XIV, we're destined for the finals!

Frazzler: You're still cool.

Fraz - I still love you and will have all your babies.

Nachte - I really liked this! I like the way you added a lot of depth to Frank. Nice job and your drawings rock still even with the Heavensward factor involved :)

FRAZZ- AngryTyra/ I was rooting for you. We were all rooting for you! /angryTyra

NACHTE- I like that you're maintaining the style of your last round, but it looks like the week deadline really did you in by way of detail/quality. I'd keep an eye on your grammar and spelling tho. Unless this is a play on labor and delivery terms, 'breach' is the word you're looking for on page 3.

Despite the fact your inks are rough, you seem to have gotten the gist of your pages events and even got some shading in besides to add some depth. Also, talk about this tale getting darker still! You really have a knack for playing up the tragic gumshoe on the hunt for the man who took his future away from him. Poor Macrae Jr. It really gives Franks intensity for seeking these two out have more credence. Also, I'm not sure if page 10 is where you wanted to end things, but I think leaving it hinging on the 'well does he die? doesnt he?' is a lovely way to keep your readers on the hook until round 3.

Ah fellas, I got nuttin'
Moved place this week. That came with more than it's fair share of problems.
And fell into a real job that I couldn't afford to dodge.

Looking forward to reading, Nachte, and apologies.
I'm gonna go think about what I have (haven't) done.
