An alien from outer space tasked with observing the planet and its inhabitants!

Here on a scouting mission (supposedly tasked with observing the people of this planet) Grey's intentions are seemingly ambiguous.
Outwardly Grey can seem a bit reserved but tends to be haughty and dismissive towards others, believing the people of this planet are simple and beneath him and his kind.
Grey considers himself more intelligent than most, however he does have trouble understanding others' motives and drives, is somewhat gullible, and can be inappropriate when interacting with others (being an alien probably doesn't help).
That said, with time he would be capable of better understanding people and feelings initially foreign to him. He is not completely cold-hearted, although it might seem that way at first.
Usually he is not overly friendly nor hostile but will grant attention to anyone who can assist with his goals.

Grey is an adult alien, is physically rather weak, and relies on brain power and his species' advanced technology to get by.
While not extremely athletic he can be relatively agile when it's necessary, though he tends to tire quickly. He also tends to startle easily from loud noises, surprises, and the like.
Without the use of his technology he would have trouble being much of a threat to anyone, though he might try to convince one otherwise (most likely with little success).
