yeah, your character looked pretty nice in action but everything else felt lacking to me. at least for someone of your skill set. the backgrounds & the fonts were already mentioned a couple of times. and like squid said the climax of the story was kind of wasted when it's shown so tiny & kind of tacked on to the bottom of a page like that. it would have served you much better to draw that action out larger to give it more importance. also too the continuity in the first three panels were a little odd. like he's slouching, then he's sitting upright & then you go back & reuse the slouch. that kind of thing. be wary of that in the future, & try to get away from reusing images while you're at it too.

I liked this, fun short story.

I don't like the page 2 layout... something about the bottom panels... they were so small they had little impact... at least the panel of Ronin crashing though the window should've been close-up or something.. I think.

sometimes the style of the backgrounds is inconsistent with the foreground... like on page 3, where the lines are thinner on Ronin and Stripe but thick in the background. And, the cityscape on the page looks unfinished.

I also agree with Joshua about the font choice. Pretty nice job otherwise, though.

Def. nice shit ninja, good job on the fighting/action.  However, I feel that the serif font didn't really compliment the style at all. BLAMBOT.COM or hand written would help.

Thanks ya'll. Yeha it was pretty basic in the end. I figured since Entervoid isn't just a 'hey look who's better' kind of place, but rather a place to better yourself in sequential art I'd experiment with doing a color comic in flash. I tried a few different formats and just made sure I got done the 3 pages necessary.  I just happened to do them like 4 times haha.

Ninja: Great art for the characters. I feel the backgrounds could have done with abit more work. Overall a good comic both art and storywise for its short duration.

Ninja: Not bad mang, wish you would of brought Stripe out sooner cause you've got an awesome style. But... I can't help but feel that you could of done more with this compared to your other works on DA. The story was OK, but honestly it's nothing I haven't seen before. Still though, not bad and I'm loving your style here.

And Ronin, you had until almost 2 PM today to get this in when I woke up. The site was up at 2 am before I went to sleep last night. If there were any technical problems that caused your default, you should have emailed me and Wei your pages. Otherwise,  you got to be the first person to default on their own extension they gave themselves. Oh boy.

The deadline was extended, last night was the true deadline. And yes, a human body has to put up the comics, they don't go up automatically and me and Wei aren't always up at 3am to put the comics up. So sometimes you have to wait.
