I loved the surprised look on the clerks face, great flow good colors, backgrounds everywhere, lots of detail, love that. Not much to say against it. Tight comic, keep it up!

Dan Dieckmann (SkullcapComix): Jba1987 - thank you! I actually agree 100% with you about the surprise lines.... I tend to go way overboard with those, and making some of them have white outlines... Not the best in retrospect. In the future, way less of those, and illustrated differently. :-)

Maybe if they were smaller? With the white outlines you'll still catch them, but if they were even, like, 1/4 the size for the most part, it would get the point across I think?

Literally every part of this is SO GOOD. Such intrigue has to be bad for my heart (or something). Lineart, colors, effects, writing, everything; you guys knocked it straight outta the park!

My only adverse comment is: what's up with the "surprise" lines throughout? I only ask because they sort of stick out a bit compared to everything else. I'm (clearly) no pro, but as a hardcore comics-reader my only suggestion would be to make them match the rest of the effects somehow? But other than that, wow! Can't wait for more B)

As it's been... a while... I might recommend reading issue 1 again, though this one does have a recap page. Other useful reading might include any of the Toast character's comics as well, as they occur in this same continuity.

Thanks, bud! And you bet! I learned a lot doing this one, and I can definitely get the next one done sooner, for several different reasons. Can't wait to see your next one, too! I'm hooked!
