I been doing a lot of stuff lately but it's all been War For Arcadia related...
don't know if I'll post any of it here.

Been kind of wondering should I submit Bullet Face to Void lately since it's been suggested, but I kinda really like having different characters for each site. I probably won't.

To my understanding we've already established that the more people sign up for this the longer it's going to take. If we end up with a lot of competitors and someone pops out two impressive comics in a row for the first two weeks and then on the third week his girlfriend dumps him, his mother dies, his computer explodes, and his sidekick is blown up by the Joker, he's still not allowed to default? I understand it's frowned upon and yeah, I'm not part of the family yet so my opinion may not carry more weight than a wet paper bag, but I also see there are people with several defaults who are already in. The guys who make a character just to have one and default on their very first battle, fine, throw them to the dogs and do whatever, but this whole "if someone defaults at any point" business is too much in my opinion. Just throwing in my two cents.

You make a good point. Good comics for 2 rounds and you win both and then life happens... does seem like punishment to take the character away. I didn't mean it that way. Plus I'm ALL FOR this tournament and really excited for it. I was just thinking about the beginning rounds mainly.
Do whatever, it was just a suggestion.
and Mishi your stuff looks SICK!

And how was this year's SDT the biggest joke ever?

Double defaults. A three way, but then no three way when numbers are uneven again. A bye week for one member... but then that member defaults on his next fight. A double default again I think but can't be sure because the record of it is not even there at all for some reason? Deleted like it never happened.

This is SWEET!
I think you should have to NOT DEFAULT to get your character permanent in Void though. Anybody that makes it into the tourney but defaults at any point should not get an auto-in. That would keep this tourney pretty default free.

I actually think this is kind of a good idea, some people might sign up just to get a character in and then default and still keep that character while bypassing everything else. I think its a great idea :)

Well, if someone thinks like that, they're just too lazy to do comics anyway and their score will suffer. Anyway, I think we shouldn't punish new people for defaulting like that. Let's say one nice guy defaulted for reasons beyond not being lazy. He might be awesome and legitimately interested in the site, but since he caught a raw deal, he loses the character he wanted to use.

We should be more welcoming, not punishing.

It wouldn't be a punishing thing. The artist could still do a 2 to 4 page intro and submit the character to the site regular style if he defaulted. I wasn't thinking he/she would be banned with that character for good, just wouldn't get an auto-in... but it's your idea, I just thought I'd throw that out there since I personnally hate defaults, hate tournaments that have defaults in them, and thought defaults turned this years SDT into one of the biggest jokes I've pretty much ever seen on Void. Just an idea though. Like I said, I realy do think it's one of the coolest ideas for an event on Void that I've seen!

I would love if Bullet Face were in Void...i reed some battle in Arcadia some time ago and i love it.

Dude, Carlito! Your stuff is improving so much! Massive level up!

Really digging the shading you're using on penryn's characters and bullet face, i'd love to see more stuff like that.

keep up the practice man, it's working!

Glad you guys liked it. I'm trying to get better anyway.
Don't know if I'd ever bring Bullet Face over here haha, I kind of like having a different character for either site to switch off with.
Thanks for the support you two!

Sorry Carlito, you aren't having the Grim Reaper award.

Haha, wow. I wasn't even making a dig at you Zsa... I wasn't saying you ASKED to get a reward you didn't earn, or to win a fight that you defauled on. I was saying I thought the system might be broke.

contrary to popular belief, the character updater is really just held together with duct tape, so it's prone to malfunctions here and there.

Thanks. I was just wondering cause it had been a couple weeks, and yeah I thought it might be broke but whatever.

70
How come Kaji and Derrick tod aren't dead?
They are both still in the new characters section, and show in thier status as being alive.
Also, Zsa earned the Grim Reaper but hasn't won 5 deathmatches. Unless you count the double default http://entervoid.com/comic.php?id=2646. Which shows them both as winning? I kinda don't get it.

Man I love these! Especially the last two... and not just cause the one is my character but the pose and composition are awesome to me and they kind of tell a story in just one frame... I like the ying and yang shading on Chia too. Keep it up man. These are getting better with each one.
You did the Coil first, yes?

Probably the sickest picture of Angie I've ever seen!

73
what is the basis for Gabe being the one to sit out?

That's just the way it's bracketed.

Okay cool. It didn't really matter to me, I was just wondering.
And I kinda thought 3-ways the rest of the way might be cool haha... or not.

74
I don't know what Carlito's talking about, but if the round were to end right now, Gabe would sit out the next round and come back to face the winner of Amaloo vs Mister Kent in the semi finals.

Though I suppose there is still a chance for Monday vs Sixtem to end in the tie and throw another wrench into things.

What I meant was, because of the double default, the matches and numbers are uneven.
First round was 24 people on 24 people (48 contestants). Second round was 11 on 11 and 1 3-way because of the tie (24 contestants). Now it's uneven though, so I thought it would be 4 2-person battles and I assumed a 3 way (11 contestants)... since there was a 3-way last time... and next round would be uneven too (5 contestants) so if there was another 3-way and a 2-person battle it would be 1 on 1 for the final.
Why would 1 person get to sit out? That doesn't seem fair... and what is the basis for Gabe being the one to sit out? Wouldn't it just go down the line like before? and he would fight Amaloo?
If you ARE going to let someone have a free round off, it should be whoever got most points this round or something, that way they would kind of earn it... but even that is REALLY lame. No one should get a freebee when no one else does should they?
I don't know, I was just asking.

75
So is there going to have to be a 3 way match every round now EXCEPT the final? Then it'll just be 1 on 1 at the end?
