sorry, folks, i\'ve been dealing with problems with my scanner... we are still trying to find all of our stuff that went into temp storage during the last month of remodeling. but as soon as i can, my side will be up. if not put directly into this battle, then as a bb. T.T i just hope i can get things work out soon. :3 at least i can say with certainty that what i did on my side was my best battle yet; not perfect, but my best.

ronin: you did pretty well, however, those lines are really dry without some color or tones, but with 25 some odd pages, i suppose that would be hard to pull off, so im sure many will forgive you for that haha. but as far as backgrounds, i think you got really lazy towards the end. there was some anatomy problems, but they werent too too bad. however, your lettering was really wonky, and not straight. it was kind of distracting for a comic that long. i think if you found a nice font you like, the lettering could get alot more creative ( for instance, bolding instead of underlining)

but overall good show

zsabreuser: I think Slade\'s side will go up within a few days.  Hopefully.

About the backgrounds, I didn\'t pay as much attention to variation in line width. (Time issues, I may have overdone it a little on the page count).  Do you think that\'s what it was?  And it\'s all done freehand on the tablet, with a few line tool thingers here and there.

Awesome stuff Graphite! I feel you have changed your lines a lot, but they are really ncie. Are they vector or something? they have a 3D-ish feeling (like in thos cellshading 3d games), and I liked them, altough it seemed a bit off when in scene with backgrounds, which almost always didn\'t feel right. I liked the story as well, too bad there isn\'t the second one to finish the plot :(

I haven\'t voted yet, should I wait for Slade\'s or it\'s not really going to be up?

I\'m pretty sure those are the 28 pages I sent in, but I\'m open to the possibility of Slade being amazingly versatile...  >_>

Did Graphy\'s pages end up under Slade\'s entry ??

The drawing style is definitely his.

well... good news bad news...

the good news is that thanks to a two day extention, i got more then i thought i would have done...

the bad news is that i can\'t find the damn cords to my scanner yet. hopefully i can find them by tonight after i get back from work, but if not, then i\'ll just take the loss and upload my side as a bb when i can.

i\'d go to kinko\'s, but money is tight right now and it\'d cost too much to scan in what is effectively almost 60 pages (i have to scan one half of the page and then the other as i was working in a larger format).

sorry graph, this whole year has conspired against me... true i\'ve also been a bit lazy at times, but th bulk of my problems this year have been external. first four months i was dealing with computer problems, then for the last three or four, it\'s been the remodel on my room... i really hate this year... the only good to come out of it thus far was the con. and man what a con. :3

well, enough of that. as soon as i can, part two WILL be uploaded.

Ah, you\'re referring to BOTM, the Battle Over The Marmalade?  Actually it ended a while back, the last match was pretty sweet if I do say so myself!

Incidentally however, this also is the last part of the BOTH series.  Here\'s hoping it goes out with a bang!
