Thanks everybody!
Toast: Yes, I am planning on doing a pulpo entry, but I still haven't cranked anything.
Angie: thanks a lot for all the crits, yes, the fade is a solution I'm developing for the inkage so it doesn't become too cluttered, so it was more of an experimenting, but it's cool to know it works. As for the bgs, you're totally right.. I still have to find a way of making the bgs have the "zsa look", since they are currently pretty boring.
Rest assured I'll have all those stuff on mind!
Squid: totally agreeed! Snow makes everything better!
Thanks again for the kind comments, everyone!

This is so cute and such a sweet idea. Also agree that this is the tightest coloring you've show, jeez how many times do I have to say that!? (Every battle?!) You just keep skyrocket improving (*O*

Zsa-This is for sure some of your best work, I was very impressed by your colors and lineart. One thing that was bothering me though was while you're getting better and more detailed over time, there are times where the detail is very overpowering so things become cluttered and confusing. Like in that last panel on the first page it's very difficult to figure out where I'm supposed to be focusing. It's like you're starting to do the fade thing where your lines are colored as they go further into the background which is a good first step. Maybe doing it a little more on Pothole in that panel may have helped. You also need to step back a little on your backgrounds, like the walls and sometimes ground look like they're made out of cloth in a lot of areas because of the texture you'd given them. Other than those issues this was wonderful, I always love to see where you go on each comic you do.

wowww I would have to call this your best coloring work ever. One of my major issues with your comics was that the colors seemed to grab ALL the attention making it hard to notice anything else? Something like that? But, this.. this is nice. 'u ' Much subtler.
I kinda wish there was more snow on the ground.
That's the only critique I could think of :I

Damn, man. You pulled out all the stops on this one- great inks, coloring, and a great story to go along with it. I really like how you portrayed GVSR with the pixels (which I'm sure took about an hour for each panel) and I really, really like the look of Pots in this one, definitely a twist on the norm, but it looks super cool. I'll definitely have Ronin put some use to that new golf club. Great BB, man. I look forward to your next comic! :B

And so Pothole and GVSR carry on in the tradition of Laurel and Hardy and Abbot and Costello.
Great comic Zsa, short but entertaining.

Hahaha, that's awesome. The last comic of yours I remember reading was versus Dan, which is a real shame because I love your stuff.
I gotta say, the color work here is dramatically stronger than the purely black and white stuff you had going on back then. GVSR looked amazing and this was a thoroughly enjoyable read (I just read through it twice).
Really, all I have left to ask is - are you working on Pulpo yet? I hope so.

this is more of an observation than a complaint, but a lot of the textures are very similar. for example: pothole's skin, gvsr's santa hat, and other objects seem to be made from the same glossy material. regardless, the artwork is bold and energetic as always, and the story is a fun quick read.
hope you had a happy voidmas.
