Terfle is baby, and I love them.

congrats on getting a character so quickly. with everyone's reactions here something you can keep in mind for future comics is making sure to not accidentally overshadow your own character with others since there's so much interest. Since he's a simple character, he may accidentally be overshadowed in comics.
on another note i love the texture you used for this comic, it really works

In all seriousness, I think this is a pretty solid intro! You established who Terfle is, a bit of backstory, and their goal in Void City. You have great character design, and I like this sort of... simple and older depiction of Void. I do agree with Viramem that the portal kind of jars with the rest of your style, but it’s a pretty small issue. Welcome to Void!

This is a real nice looking Intro comic, I really enjoyed seeing this little Construct and wow, a Wizard Gorilla, good stuff I look forward to seeing more stuff from you, welcome to Void

Terfle is in and ready to rumble! I am eager to see his battles to come.

Overall it's a very well executed comic. Terfle has a nice, simple design and a fun set of abilities according to the ref sheet. The storytelling is concise and there's a great sample platter of character interactions to draw from as well.

There's some visual dissonance from the lens flare and the spell rune brush clashing with the rest of your art. I feel that given your speed and consistent quality you'd be better served rendering that sort of thing manually.

I stand by my feedback that there is a very slight, itty bitty, lingering sense that Terfle is outshined by Tantamok in his own intro due to Tantamok visually dominating the panels by virtue of being a big gorilla wizard and also being the primary source of all dialogue--but that is nittiest of picks I suppose.  On a slightly related note in regard to scale I REALLY like how you took advantage of the passerby's shoes in the backgrounds of Terfle's panels to further drive home his size. That's a great touch.

A pretty standard intro premise, perfectly executed with great characters. Definitely want to know more about the gorilla wizard mentor/creator, and see what Terfle gets into next. Tons of potential in this little guy!

I already love Terfle and would protect them with my life, I am so endeared to them. Also, the the vocabulary concept is very cool and tempting. Plus, I really like your art and your inks especially! Incredibly want to fight.

First off, congrats on getting in!! This is a really good comic--the art is v pleasing to look at, the environments are interesting, and the story is straightforward and fun! It's a really good jumping-off point for this character, and I'm really interested to see how Terfle grows and develops in Void!!

but also I'm a lil sad to see that gorilla go because I'm biased and I fuckin love gorillas and he seemed like a really cool character aaaaaaaaaaah
