In pursuit of his grand vision of a city without furries, Paddy McBastard has created the Heavy Metal Squad to help enforce his law. The Squad consists of the finest soldiers handpicked from the VCPD\'s military division, and they are all armed to the teeth to carry out their objectives, whatever they may be.

The Squad will carry out general deportation of furries and the suppression of riots, but the main purpose of choosing the elite of the enforcers is to combat those who would attempt to fight the new law, such as the Exiles.

Romero is a man from the country who arrived in VOID a few years back-- however, he has disclosed nothing of his past, except some suggestions that his relations to furries in the past have been greatly strained. He is well enough convinced that furries are intrinsically evil, so when it was apparent that the furry population was on the rise again he gladly responded to Paddy\'s call for enforcers who would carry out anti-fur laws.

He generally appears to have a rather sullen temperament, but he is kind to the citizens so long as they do not oppose the anti-fur laws. He is extremely aggressive-- brutal, some say-- when laying down the law however, and will not hesitate to beat a furry to within an inch of his life. His favorite weapon is the shotgun since it\'s \"the closest thing to back home\" but obviously he will use whatever is best for the job.
