Hahaha Jackster. I didn't know you were a lady.

Sorry. That's offensive to ladies out there.

I watched the first & second episodes of Generation Kill. It's a miniseries running on HBO about the current war in Iraq, based on a book by an embed reporter for Rolling Stone. My initial reason for watching was the fact that it was done by some of the same people that did The Wire. But beyond even that, it's pretty damn interesting to watch.

Yay for quirky comedy television!

Co-created by Tim Minear (Who did Firefly and I think Angel?) and Bryan Fuller, who went on to do another awesome series...

Both are addictive and awesome.

i saw [ REC] last night.
it was real bad ass. first horror movie to genuinely creep me out in a long while.

spanish movie, shot all first-person, but unlike cloverfield shot well. camera crew follows fire fighters for the night, they get a call to get an old lady out of an apartment, they show up & the old lady starts chewing out carotid arteries zombie style. and then it turns out they've been sealed in by the army & health authorities.

they're apparently already doing a US remake called 'quarantine' but i can't speak for that one. but this original was real good. should have just subbed it & brought it over, saved the hassle. but seriously. bad ass though.

oh. and who hasn't been watching the third season of the venture brothers? i mean really?

I just finished watching death note. Watch it if you haven't. It's only like 30 something episodes of pure goodness.

This movie was BADASS!!

Hux kept telling me to watch the original over at the chat. If the Blockbuster near me has the film, then I'll go check that out too.

Both those shows are fantastic.  You should also check out Dead Like Me, another Bryan Fuller series (they're making a movie due out next year)

Persepolis

I rented this recently; the animation was really nice and it's just a great film overall. I haven't read the comic book yet.

Couldn't find the actual DVD cover, but this is pretty close XD

We just finnished catching up on Heroes. I know, I know,...but hey we got hooked.

I also went down to a Small Time Comic Convention in Portland Oregon. After about thirty minutes my son puked on the floor and we had to go.

Other than that. All we realy watch is PBS. Our State realy has a good Broadcaster.

Does Heroes have a Season two out yet?

Hey don't let me make you laugh...no,no..seriously!
