what?

Well, it looks pretty good man, but all your movements are stiff as a board. Have you ever really thrown something big and heavy that's grenade sized? Now have you tried throwing it a good distance? When you want to throw something really far, you put some weight into it, Agent Black's throw is going as far as 20 feet from how hard he's throwing it in that animation. Basically your character's are barely moving their spines, shoulders, and hips. I know your style is surreal and not entirely focused on realism, but in animation it just ends up looking awkward.

Don't get me wrong, so far this is pretty good and nice and fluid, but your figures still need work.

 Oh yeah, I agree with Philip C....and throw some leaves in-between the pages to Scrap up later...beef.

humm i should prolly change up this /black/ fellow's face since theres been a lot of clones of him running around lately.

in any case ive been doing a lot of short hand methods since this all had to be done with in a week.

and now that i think about it ..30 seconds in that time seems prety brutal.

other than that i totally agree that evenly working all parts of the body makes animation far more effective in less frames.

 Wow,

I'm sorry. I didn't know you were allowed only thirty seconds? Can you still up the amount of leaves per second or do you have to stick to a specified number for your Tree of frames?

naw dude the issue isnt having a quota;

animating 30 seconds
much less 6 seconds
takes FUCKING HOURS
if you're working 16 frames a second
thats like drawing 2 comic pages' worth of tiny frames to make up that amount of time.

 Sheah...h- Tell me about it.

I've easily put in 52 hours on Bizharrow's submission alone.
(if I had only known how to work the "fuzzy select" wand earlyer)

And I totally know what you mean about what you were doing too;

I played around after running myself through the tutorial that came with a
Student version of Fireworks (one of the first flash web animator progs).

 I still have that somewhere(fireworks)...have you tried wink?
(it {WINK} can render sound backgrounds and is  free, or open source)

the general plot to gloomy sunday.

person mourns their lovers death.
contemplates suicide
realizes its a dream

Gloomy sunday being the general plot to follow for this assignment.  It made sense to people who were working on the same thing I suppose.

Luckily there are constructive comic people on void who can tell me all about it.
