So back in 2008, I bought myself my very first Cintiq, the 12WX.
Even if it did cost me almost $1000, this little baby served me for years in terms of drawing for fun or getting serious with comics, from the Royal Rumble battle of '08 all the way to Angels & Demons and the Holiday comics.
8 years has now passed since I first bought that tablet, and I was now in demand of a bigger screen as well as something to eliminate the backaches I've been getting as well as leg cramps from having the tablet lay on my lap for too long. And the tablet just wasn't bright enough. So after saving up money from selling a helluva bunch of stuff I've been collecting for years, I went and spent $730 on a new Cintiq that will hopefully serve me well as my old one did.
I bring you the 2nd generation 21UX!
It's big, it's bright, it's big, it draws like a champ, it's big, it's got more buttons, and it's big. In fact, it's so big that both this and my other monitor takes up the whole desk. It will also take me some time to get used to drawing on a bigger screen, so practice makes perfect from here on out.
Goodbye 12WX, you have served me well.
