Hello and happy hols to everybody.

I'm Jay, a 19 year old art student from California (hopefully will be accepted to Otis next year). I stumbled across this excellent site after somehow finding Mickey's gallery on redcarp from other arty people's links. I just checked out the battles and fighters for a few months, then finally decided to join. It's nice to meet everyone and I can't wait to submit a fighter and join the battle tourney. Cheers.

I actually just really noticed this introduce yourself thread (I've sort of ben here a while, lurking i guess you would call it).

Well My name is Lawrence McWilliams (known as LP to some).  I'm 18, live in San Bernardino California and ride the train to shcool in LA (about an hour and 15 minute ride on train, hour in a car with no traffic).  I am an art major, animation to be specific (computer and traditional) although I have not yet gotten to any real art classes other than art history (and probably won't for a year or so).  I'm black, about 5 foot 11, have short hair 'cause I recently cut my afro completly off for the first time in about 5 years.  

I play drums, set, bongos, box drum, you name it and I've either played it or will try to play it.  I like all types of music, although i don't listen to music as most people I know.

Do I?  Well I'm half black and half black.  There is a mixture of a few other things in there, but I won't get into all that.  I've been to the South Bay area, and my brother knows some people from there.

I'd like to move... The people here are all snobby bitches, especially when you get down to Hermosa and Redondo (I live in the Mecca of bitchery!). You'd think they'd be all cool and laid back, but the only people who can afford to live down there are the jerks. It seems that up north's the place to be; friendlier people, greener landscape... *sigh*

My name is Jason and I've been lurking (but registered) here for almost a year.  I have seen every battle since and have even left a comment here and there, just in case you were wondering who that was.  I heard about this site from Global Comic Jam and had to be a part of this.  I was a little to busy to contribute last year but my resolution was to get my fighter into Void within the month.  I just have to finish up the intro and I'll be ready.  

I'm 28 and have been an aspiring comic artist most my life (despite not being very good)  I'm amazed by talent on these boards and can't wait to get in on the fun.  That's pretty much it for me.  I hope to see you all on the battlefield.  JV
