Hi everyone!

You probably noticed that VOID looks a little different now. This is Void 5.99!! We have been working really hard to fix some stuff and make the site better. This was a ridiculous amount of work and we faced a lot of challenges and set backs but we are really happy to give you guys this update. Hope you guys like it! We will probably still keep tweaking this a little bit for a while...

Major Changes:

VOID IS NOW MOBILE FRIENDLY! Void was made in 2002. Long before smart phones were a thing. Finally, we have updated the site to look less garbage-y on your cellphones. There might be some funkiness here and there just because of the variety of cellphones out there, but the people have been testing it say that it's an improvement.

Navigation is condensed - Things are now under Comics, Characters, or Community. This should be pretty self explanatory. Also, HELP is now in the main nav. You can also find some stuff in the dropdown under your avatar.

Banner is taller - Banners are now 250px high. We will be making a thread in art jams shortly about new banner designs.

Other than that, things should pretty much be in the same spot.

FAQ:

Why didn't you fix this thing or add this feature in the update?
VOID is an old old website that is really complex. It took a lot of work to get to this point, and there are some items that we just can't get perfect because of how the site is constructed. We did our best.

PLEASE POST IT HERE! We will probably run into some stuff and we will try to fix it as soon as possible. POSTING A SCREENSHOT IS VERY HELPFUL!!

wait, but now i have to use the entire width of my monitor to look at things, instead of about 40%

(Looks nice and polished! Drop shadows are the best part. Too bad this means no nice light gray city backdrop.)

@Reecer: What do you mean about the full width thing? The site should change size to fit whatever window it's in, so let me know if that's not the solution you need.

@Wu: What browser are you using (and on what OS)? The code I used to line up those arrows might be too new for some older browsers and possibly not supported fully?? Let us know and we can look into it!

@everyone: I'm so glad people are liking the new site so far! Red and I worked crazy hard on it, so seeing the positive response means so much.

I'm running up-to-date Windows 7 Ultimate on latest Firefox (54.0.1) at 1080p resolution. I get the same effect on Chrome (59.0.3071.115).

Suggested reproduction effect is to stretch the browser page horizontally

Thank you! I guess the problem only showed up on larger screens. You may have to do a hard refresh, but it should be fixed.
