You are a brand new resident to Void City brought in by Mayor Blonde's Void Reconstruction Act. You have a simple apartment, but no friends, no job, no life to speak of. So what now?

Voting is here! These are all unused character designs by me, so by God I'm determined at least one sees use. Vote for one to be our main character. Feel free to comment in this thread as well!

This is a forum adventure, inspired by MSPaint Adventures and the like. I will hopefully be updating about every other day. Not every update will have polls like this, most will be more freeform--I ask what our protagonist does next, and everyone chimes in with suggestions. Sound good? Then let's go

You're a young Human Witch living on her own in the big weird city--Welcome to Void! Your talents weren't properly appreciated where you come from, but hopefully you can start anew here. You only know one spell at the moment: BURN. You've heard this city in particular holds the promise of learning more advanced magic.

This is your new place, Apartment 3B in the old Warsaw Building. It’s not quite as nice as your old place, but at least it’s your own! The combo kitchen/living room is quite bare at the moment. There is an autographed portrait of a luchador on the wall, left by the previous owners. It really classes up the place, the previous owners probably believed.

The walls are thinner than you realized, however. There’s a sound of vigorous activity in Apt. 3C. Perhaps…amorous activity? You haven't met your neighbors yet, but this is quite an awkward preview.

You peer down the hallway at the framed portrait of a mutant wrestler named "KRUK". You wonder why the previous owner would've left this piece of art behind!

A sharp hunger pain strikes your stomach--you're famished! But you didn't bring any food with you to Void! You check the fridge--

There's a thawed-out ice pack, a leaky jar of moldy salsa, and a box of baking soda. Not a lot of options, and your stomach continues to growl.

Near the kitchen sink, a splinter of wooden flooring has pulled up. There's an old witch's tradition to refuel lost power that comes to mind…you wonder if it works...

Another update coming tonight! In the meantime, you might be introducing yourself to neighbors soon--what name will you give them?

You saw some of the elder witches do this at coven meetings. You think. Maybe you just dreamed it up yourself. In any case, you dig that smoky flavor!

You're not quite so hungry now. You could check up on the neighbors, or maybe go in search of real food. Or maybe mooch some off your neighbors!
