I would like to share this real watercolor painting I made.

It is yes real paper, real watercolor paint, real watercolor pencil, you can feel it between your toes, know
it is real.
It was an experiment (I wasn't entirely knowing what I was doing, it was just something to pass the time).
I particularly like how that tree came out, I feel like I accomplished something there.

Thanks! :) That was one of my first proper watercolor paintings. I’ve also painted with acrylic before for a figure painting class I took about 2 years ago.

Here are some drawings I have recently completed. I try and make every drawing special, add some nice touches here and there.

Those are supposed to be purple-y meadow flowers in the immediate foreground. This was to practice mixing colors that look good together. Initially I had a lot of glowing effects in here, but I didn’t think they looked right so I erased those and chose some basic lighting.

I give myself a holographic star sticker for a job well done. :D

This is good, one of my greatest paintings. I was trying all these brushes under the sun and kept airbrushing and airbrushing then try some more brushes I don’t usually use- then this came out:

Here is my most recent landscape. I'm trying to learn color theory now, but I think a lot
of decision making in coloring comes down to trial-and-error and/or intuition. It took awhile to make this because
picking the right colors to make it look good was the hard part.

I would like to share my process here:

Step 1: Sketching: Building a model for success
At this stage, I sketch, erase a lot and generally lay the foundations down.

Step 2:Fill it with a color: Like toning your paper in a painting class taken years ago...
At this stage I fill the figure with color because I’m going to create a new layer above this one which will be clipped to it, to help speed up coloring.

Step 3: Putting the true colors in: Now I place my true colors where they belong in their respective spots on the figure.

Step 4: Trying to figure out light and shadow

Step 5: Slowly building upon colors and the colors that came before them and so on...

Step 6 : I just kept trying things with brushes, different, shades, and highlights to get here...

Step 7: It was getting late so I just tacked something in the background for good measure.

Now I call it complete!

Boo! These look great! Love that  rendering you did on her. The shading  really made her pop and look 3D. Keep up the good work. I am happy to see so much improvement from you.

I eggsperimented and eggsperimented and eggsperimented with these layer modes and brushes. I took 5 minute break then I looked at my painting here and I add more to it. Then I take another 5 minute break and I added just a little more contrast to add more impact. This is the completed Portraiture:

EGG DEALER:

This is my attempt at staging a multi-person vs. 1 egg fight scene, this is only the plotting phase, I should add a background sometime. I may try and animate this someday... maybe :D, this is only frame 1.

This next piece is just a sketch, maybe NSFW too.
Egg Dealer discovers a hidden egg in his armpit. This was done traditionally, on real paper, with a mechanical pencil and a pen.

It is in the truest a fact a two-headed penny, very rare.

Now we’re talking illustrated picture dictionary stuff here.

There have been many wardrobe iterations over time, this one being the latest of the range.
(Filters have been messed with here to experiment). :):):):)

These are now both quite actually old by now!!
By the time I redid it a second time, I got new, more developed ideas, so these are from, let’s say, deleted scene.
