we did it last year!
AND THE YEAR BEFORE

And apparently it was supposed to be on Oct.4th, officially?

BUT WE STILL NEED TO DO A 2014 ONE.

If people would like to do a 24 Hour Comics Day event we can make it happen, we just need a date to set it up for.

You guys couldn't finish 4 pages In a month. What makes you think you could do 24 in a day??

I ended up going on tour for two weeks and then spent the other two weeks drinking away my sorrows since I had to come back home to a dead dog. But I don't like excuses and accepted my fate as "dumb baby" haha. I actually like the ring to it.

Hahah, oh Sheldon, you little (wink wink) prick. I never thought about the DUMB BABY thing like that, but it actually is a pretty good sign that something like this won't work. Personally, I actually did turn in a comic for Short 'N' Sweet, but I gave myself this status because I was ashamed with how bad it was.

Can I do a 24-hour comic? I don't know; I think it depends on where I am emotionally and mentally at the time because I'm having severe issues with that right now. But I really want to try; to test myself, and see what I CAN do.

maybe its not about being sure one can do it.
for me it would be just to challenge myself to give it a serious try. and god knows what you can produce qualitywise when you are supposed to do 24 pages. sdickman figure comic maybe...
well you dont need an event for that, sure. but still you should plan this beforehand. like sheldon who needs a complete day off for it assuming its not on a weekend(but maybe you work 7 days a week, who knows)

i love the idea to make that an event. or jam... though i wont even try cause everybody knows how that would end.
hope this becomes a thing in voids 2014
