GORGON//webcomic

GORGON//webcomic
« on: Jul 01, 2014, 04:59 PM »
I took the first steps to executing my webcomic idea which is just called Gorgon as of now (until i can think of an awesomoar name). The concept is a Greek Cryptoxploitation, a made up genre that is similar to the grindhouse exploitation genres. The story follows Gorgon on her path for vengeance against the gods responsible for cursing her from human into the monster she now represents.
More concept art to come sooner/later. Stay tuned comrades!

I'm down with this.
- I yearn for redemption, but I'll settle for a breakfast sandwich.

i actually created them in illustrator then dropped the shapes into photoshop. I then used photoshop tools to turn them into shapes, so that i can always create the same bubble shapes consistently with the shape tool.
Further steps are rasterizing the bubble shape, selecting them with magic wand, expanding the selection by 5 increments and then filling in with black paintbucket on a layer underneath the bubble in order to get the outline.
I create the tails on the bubbles every-time with the pen tool.
