If you're interested in attending grad school for comics and you happen to be in the SF/Bay Area this summer, Come to the CCA summer comics lecture series. All the lectures take place in the main California College of the Arts building on the SF campus and they are free! You would have a chance to meet and talk with most of the faculty and current students, plus hear a great talk. Here's the schedule:
