Voider Webcomics

Voider Webcomics
« on: Feb 07, 2013, 10:03 PM »
I realize that a lot of people go into and start their own webcomics so I thought, why not have a thread that gives them a shout out so people can check them out?  I'll start but if you know any Voiders past or present who have webcomics let's stick 'em in here and give them some love.
For easy access, I will modify the front page:

This may be a good chance to ask about what people believe to be good sites to host online webcomics.
From my own research it seems your own wordpress site with comicpress is the best but it would require a bit of website building.
Any input?

Let's not forget http://bff.nematodeinspace.com/Best Friends Forever, which is being drawn by void's own mickequ/mickey!

I've seen people use Smackjeeves--like mynameismad, who hosts her comic http://sakana.smackjeeves.com/comics/1032298/001/ Sakana on Smackjeeves. She got picked up by MangaMagazine later, which is a subcribe-to-read hosting site which invites comic artists with already established comics to host their work on the site.

When I had webcomics I used www.drunkduck.com It was a decent site, easy to use. My old webcomics are still up, but hopefully I can restart them at a new site. I think some people use wordpress sites, but I'm not sure.

How does one go about getting a site--for example, squid, what did you do to get your moonmarauders site? I don't know what all is involved, but am very interested.

it's old but you can see my gradual improvement as it goes on.
I haven't updated this in a year now, but I'll eventually get round to it. I feel bad putting it on a cliffhanger for so long.

It just started, but my webcomic is finally up. It's called Valorous Tales, and it updates every Thursday.

Valorous Tales

Also, check out the other cool web comics on there while you're at it.

Fine I'll take it off.  I was hesitant though because I like that comic so much but it wouldn't be fair...

I've got a webcomic.
It's called Lucy.
It's about Lucy.
It features Lucy.
I'm starting chapter four just now.

Years and years ago I did a webcomic at http://nighthawkdayhawk.comicgenesis.com, and fewer years ago I did another one at http://starserpent.smackjeeves.com, though neither is really a good representation of what I do anymore, especially since I focus on folks of the more humanly persuasion nowadays.  They still have a special place in my heart though.
I do have another informal comic going too but it doesn't have a site yet.
Actually KJV is a re-tooled version of a character from the first comic too, but oh so different now from back then.

As It Was Described
I just started this comic this January.  A bit of a far cry from what I've done so far on Void.

So this has been the main focus of my entire summer and probably for the rest of it also:

Kolby's Unknown

I have been working on it in collaboration with my Dad and brother and have been a good learning experience for me. Though the update is roughly about once a week by this point I hope to have it the current chapter finished by summer's end (ie before school starts.)
